Our stay at The Grange was fine, we really only had breakfast and left for the day. We ate in the restaurant once but I have to say I didn't like the name given to 'the grazing menu' I think maybe bar menu would have been better. Our meal was fine but nothing exceptional. The restaurant lacked a bit of...

wow, just spent 4 nights at this hotel and sadly, I wouldn't rush back. it is actually privately owned but uses the Best Western name !!! when we arrived, it had been raining non-stop and as the photos show, I was expecting to be able to park outside the hotel. WRONG. you do actually have to drive up past the...

Had a great warm stay at the hotel, rooms were very comfortable, nicely maintained, clean, had a nice view of the garden, though through a window :) Was very impressed with the fact that the part of the hotel had been constructed as early as in 1801, not many properties may have such a history behind it. Though personally i...

We stopped here to break our journey to Devon and what a find and such good value. The hotel is set in a small hamlet on a narrow country road. The common rooms and bedrooms are tastefully and cosily furnished. We had a garden room with glass doors to a small patio where we could relax and enjoy the mature...

Imagine being invited to a country house in a quiet hamlet to enjoy good food and wine and go to the opera on your first evening: that was our experience of the Grange. Nothing was too much trouble at any point in our magical weekend: though we were late booking, they crammed a table into the dining-room so that we...

My husband and I had our wedding reception here in October 2014 and, thanks to Jon and the team, it really was the best day of our lives. He met with us beforehand as often as we wanted and he was on hand for advice and recommendations throughout the planning process. On the day, he ensured everything went absolutely perfectly...

My husband & I visited yesterday (04/08/15) and stayed the night. What a beautiful & peaceful area the hotel is situated in. Perfect to escape the noise & hustle & bustle of every day life. Our room (5) was spacious & clean with a lovely en-suite bathroom. Off the bedroom was our own lounge area which was fantastic. Evening meal...

Fantastic family run hotel, the staff at this fabulously appointed hotel are the freindilist you will ever find. Beautiful and spotlessly clean individual unique rooms which are very comfortable and quiet. Clearly the owners have put a tremendous ammount of effort and research into ensuring every little thing is thought about and delivered. The food and whole resturaunt experience is...
