Of course if you are a FLW fam, you've got to stay here. The hotel rooms were completely gutted and last remodeled in 2004 and so part of it - like stains on the carpet - are a little tired. If you are claustrophobic, you might be uncomfortable in the room knowing you've got to exit via the lobby and...

We really enjoyed our night soent in room 134. We had taken the tour before, but had never stayed the night. The decor and every detail is exquisite. To learn all the history and to notice the details is amazing, Our breakfast was prepared and served by Andrew, a MIST personable man, the omelets were delicious. Loved that all the...

This hotel is very unique. Frank Lloyd Wright's creation is still around to enjoy. We enjoyed staying in the room with decor from long ago. The windows even open and we were on the 13th floor! Staff was friendly. We had breakfast the next morning specially cooked by a friendly man. Check out his map he has hanging with pins...

If you are a fan of Frank Lloyd Wright this should be on your bucket list. The Inn is well cared for by guests and staff. The rooms make you feel like you know Frank Lloyd Wright after you spend the night. The tour is definitely worth doing. The guide takes you to areas that you normally would not access...

What a wonderful night. This was definitely something I have wanted to check off my bucket list. The architecture was absolutely breathtaking. How can a building built in the fifties be so modern? He was definitely ahead of his time. We stayed in a two floor Suite. The bed was very comfortable. The views were breathtaking. The hotel staff was...

It was a complete thrill to spend the night in this Frank Lloyd Wright building. I had wanted to visit this place for a long time but its out of the way location discouraged me. I am so glad I finally made it. Walking around the exterior was instructive. The building presents different faces in each direction. It is so...

One of only two Wright hotels extant in the US (the other in Mason City, IA), but this is his only "skyscraper". Opt for the two-story suite to get the full Wright effect, the standard rooms don't show off his handiwork. Take the tour to see the non-public rooms including an executive suite right out of the 50's!

A delightful evening spent sleeping to the gentle sounds of the rain on the copper fins and roofs.. I highly recommend taking the guided tour of the building, to see the private owners apartment, and executive office..drinks at the 15th floor bar, and views from the adjacent balcony are a must.

It began when we checked in. The reception area in this iconic landmark is tiny. Two volunteers, waiting to lead their next tours of the building, were hanging out at the desk. A person from housekeeping was banging around in there with us too. The two volunteers did not move out of the way for us, until my husband asked...
