The location was disappointing - not in the arts district, not close to the river, and no restaurants nearby. The gym equipment was worn. The lobby and fitness room was small. It did feel solid and well-built.

We decided to make Tulsa our overnight stop on our road trip relocating from San Francisco to Boston based on the reviews of the Ambassador. Being in the car for 10+ hours, we needed a comfy place to rest our heads. The Ambassador did not disappoint. The exterior set the tone immediately and we felt relieved upon arrival. The "lobby"... My husband and I recently stayed at the Ambassador Hotel in Tulsa and were very pleased with the entire experience! The staff was amazingly nice and helpful, the entrance was lovely, great parking area, and our room was beautifully decorated and very spacious. The only thing I wish that had been different was for some reason they gave us a... More

My husband and I are on a quest to see all 50 states. It was time for Oklahoma, and we chose Tulsa because of its close proximity to Arkansas. We happened upon the Ambassador hotel and what a lovely surprise! The front desk ladies the day we arrived, (which happened to be Halloween) were dressed up as a mermaid and... More

Traveling with my husband, we found the room, lobby, restaurant to be first rate. Better than that was the staff. They were very warm, friendly and helpful with all requests about the area, transportation, etc. Also, close to everything by their van. They will take you anywhere within a five mile radius which covers most of what you would want... More

Great large rooms, pay a little more for a great suite, courteous professional staff, and the Chalkboard Restaurant and Bar in the basement is great! The location is great for most any event in Tulsa. We always stay there when in the area and have never regretted it.

This is a great hotel that more than meets our expectations every time we stay. We have group meetings there and can plan dinners with The Chalkboard Restaurant there. It's always fabulous and everyone always enjoys it and requests when the next meeting at The Ambassador will be. Highly recommend this property.

My husband and I drove to Tulsa for a quick overnight trip and his secretary booked us at this hotel. We walked in and immediately wished we were staying longer. The lobby is so comfortable you could sit by the fire all day. The rooms are incredible with their size and amenities. I saved the best for last and that's... More

Recently completed a weekend stay while visiting our daughter at the University of Tulsa, and we found The Ambassador to be top-notch in every way. Our room was updated, and the decor was unique and lovely. The room, an "Executive King", was a corner room and quite a bit larger than you would expect from an older hotel. Staff was... More

Wish we could have stayed longer! Lovely large "standard " room; hotel recently renovated. The staff was friendly, professional, and extremely helpful. We had a bit of a special request. They were happy to accommodate us, which we greatly appreciated, & which made our life easier that day. Thank you! Oh yes: The Chalkboard restaurant is excellent, too!
