Enjoyed our stay at the Lobenhaus. Shari and Joe are wonderful hosts and prepared a yummy breakfast for us each morning. The room was very comfortable and they made us feel at home. Went on an equestrian wine tour and enjoyed every minute of it! One of Shari's recommendations along with some good restaurants.

This was our first trip to Oregon with our friends. Shari and Joe were delightful to talk to and helped us plan our wine-tasting day. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. All of the bedding was super-comfortable, and the heated tiles in the bathroom were a nice touch. The breakfasts were amazing! I have to avoid all dairy, so... More

Lobenhaus was the perfect distance from Portland for a weekend trip. It's located in a very convenient area, right in the middle of wine country. We had a lovely time with our hosts and other guests, and were treated to a tasty breakfast each morning. We were given excellent recommendations for meals and wineries throughout our stay.

Our wine tasting weekend getaway was wonderfully relaxing. The Lobenhaus B&B was the perfect getaway. We enjoyed watching the grape harvesting while we explored the beautiful scenic setting. The bed was so comfortable that it made it difficult to awake in time for the 9am breakfast. The breakfasts were delicious!!! I enjoyed talking to the other guests while we ate.... More

This was our first visit to Lobenhaus. We wanted to explore Oregon's wine country and since this B&B is listed as being in Carlton, we made reservations. Well, it isn't really in Carlton but in the neighboring town of Lafayette. So if you're going for the first time, drive into Lafayette on 99W, turn on to Bridge Street and out... More

Recently spent two nights at Lobenhaus. The hosts Shari and Joe were very nice and helpful in suggestions for the area. The room and common areas were clean and very comfortable. The beds were great. They have a vineyard on the property which was a great walk in the morning on their 27 acres and seeing the grapes almost ready... More

Shari and Joe were gracious hosts. The room and the common areas were comfortable and reakfasts were tasty. It was a lot of fun to wander around the property and admire the vineyard and gardens. Shari gave us some good ideas for outings. One of our favorite wineries was Stoller. We also enjoyed the olive oil tasting and the Republic... More

We stayed here for two nights while wine touring in the Willamette. Shari and Joe are very nice hosts. The common rooms and guest rooms are clean, comfortable and very well appointed. We recently stayed 4 nights at the Lobenhaus and enjoyed Shari and Joe's warm hospitality. We stayed in the Birch room which had windows to the vinyards on one side and the pond on the other. The separate entrance gives added privacy. The beds were very comfortable and we enjoyed our nightly chocolate treats on the dresser. This well kept... More

We just spent 3 days and 2 nights at Lobenhaus B&B. Shari and Joe were most engaging hosts! After a gourmet breakfast made by both Shari and Joe, we were treated to a walk around the vineyard by Joe. It was most informative and much appreciated since we were all off to do some wine tasting! We stayed in the... More
