I really miss my daily morning soak in the deck tub while watching whales and birds. This place is top notch, and although pricey, will be something you remember forever. We ate at Tidal Raves restaurant in Depoe, which was absolutely delicious and much more reasonably priced than Restaurant Beck. The fireplace which is controlled digitally by a t-stat was... More

We went down for our friends 60th birthday. They had suite 11 with an amazing view of the channel, we had suite 7. Our room was wonderful, however it was really warm even with the windows open and the fan running. Breakfast was great. Your staff is fantastic!! You have an amazing Manager/guest services in Sara. She went above and... More

The room (#1 Admiral) was perfect. We had a lovely view of the ocean and saw a number of whales from our bedroom and the balcony. The room had a lovely fire place and a great jacuzzi that was outside overlooking the ocean, bay, and town, but still very private. We had fresh cookies and bedtime chocolate mints waiting on... My wife and I stayed at the Channel house for a couple of nights in June. We'd been driving quite a bit to see as much of Washington and Oregon as we could before having to go back home. The stop was well worth it! The room was very nice and comfortable. We also really enjoyed the view of the... More

We agonized over which hotel to choose for our ONE NIGHT visit to the Oregon Coast. When we arrived at the hotel prior to check-in time, the exterior door was locked. We called the phone number on our reservation, but there was no answer. An hour later, we came back and the door was still locked. Another guest then arrived... More

This was a return visit. Had stayed here 20 years ago and vividly recall watching boats come out of the harbor between the swells gunning their engines as they surfed those swells into the ocean. Exciting! Stayed in the Admiral's suite on the top floor. Unfortunately, a hot tub now sits in the corner blocking most of that channel view!... More

We were given the names The Channel House and the Whale House by another hotel. The first one we arrived at was the Channel House so we chose to stay there. As we drove out of town we saw the Whale House. We were SOO disappointed that we had not driven on. The Channel House was mediocre for the most... More

We spent one night at Channel House in May 2012. We were traveling with three other couples and all of us were very pleased with this B & B. Our room, which was on the lower level, was very spacious and nicely furnished. Please keep in mind when you reserve a room that there is no elevator nor bellman to... More

First things, first. Disclosure: we may be slightly biased in favor of this Inn because we spent the night there when we got engaged. But, we will maintain our objectivity in this review. Now, to the things that really matter. There is a general (mis)perception that women need all the chocolate, candles, store-bought roses, movie-line compliments, perfectly-positioned towels, and postcard-worthy... More

The room was great, the view was spectacular and would have been even better for whale watching if we weren't there during a storm. The location is convenient to walking around town, and to the very good restaurants. Service was fantastic as was the restaurant "Tidal Rave" that was recommended since we were looking for seafood. We'll definitely plan another... More
