Rustic, bring your own bedding cabin. No locks, but never felt the need for one. Ours had a half bath, showers are available down the way. BE SURE to take advantage of the brand new cedar and rock outside shower overlooking the Brietenbush River. Everything is geothermal, so lots of hot water and heat. Lucked out, our cabin was in...

I was invited by my sister to go with her for a day trip to the hot springs. It had been a rough couple of months so I was looking forward to unplugging and hiking. It took a couple of hours for us old ladies to work up the courage to expose our old, lumpy bodies and strip down, but...

I came with my daughter for a yoga/meditation retreat for 2 days. We thoroughly enjoyed everything (apart from no hot water in the shower). The setting was beautiful. The accommodations were spartan but comfortable - as we had expected. The heat worked well on a cool night. The food was fantastic. Nice to not have to worry about your possessions....

I'm in the process of booking my next visit--the only part of visiting Breitenbush that's challenging. You need to call and make a reservation --- the old fashioned way. Otherwise, this place is a screaming deal for the amazing food and all you can soak time. Unplug and read. My mantra when I'm here? "Read, sleep, eat, soak, repeat."

I needed to get away from the stress of work and this place was perfect. Have to say upfront this is a rustic resort. If you are looking for a five star resort then this is not the place for you. However if you want quiet, beautiful scenery, comfortable beds, delicious vegetarian and vegan food, lovely soaking pools, and no...

This was my birthday gift. After a stressful holiday, rest and relax was what I needed. I enjoyed the amazing organic foods, the sauna and all the hot pools. The cabin was cozy and perfect. I especially liked the sanctuaries and the hikes in the area. I would have liked to participate in the scheduled presentations as they seemed very...

Beautiful location, Great springs. Administratively, a nightmare to make a group reservation. I started in November of 2014 trying to make a group reservation for March of 2015. They do not offer online reservations. I wanted to bring my family 4 friends. It took 5 phone calls and 5 e-mails to navigate their archaic reservation process and abusive rules system...

After a simple wedding we spent two magical nights at Breitenbush in one of the plumbed cabins. The cabin has one double and one twin bed, a desk, two chairs, a cabinet, toilet and sink. The bed was comfortable and the cabin super-cozy. We loved the radiator heat that kept the cabin comfortable and dried our towels between dips. Our...

My wife and I went to breitenbush for celebrating our 2nd wedding anniversary. It's a unique place for a number of reasons which I will list below. 1. Organic vegetarian food. This is the best and tastiest organic vegetarian full meals I have ever had in continental USA. During our stay we had two lunches and two dinners and every...

Stayed one night at Breitenbush with my love and had an amazing time! There is nothing to do but relax and enjoy yourself...and isn't that wonderful?!! The landscape is beautiful, the food is delicious and the hot springs are divine. Suggested attire for the rainy season is water shoes and a big fluffy robe topped with a rain coat. You...
