What a great little stopover while on our way from Bend to Portland. The room was very clean and so cute. Room 7, we had a jacuzzi tub, nice fireplace and log style furniture. We didn't have time to hit the Breitenbush Hot Springs just 10 miles away. Would recommend if you have the time. Our hosts Jen and Michael...

My girlfriend and I decided to do a hike in the Opal Creek Wilderness and decided to stay the night in Detroit. Mike and Jenny are the friendliest hosts in the universe, offering complimentary bath salts for the jetted tub upon check-in and inviting us to the private community event at the BBQ place next door. (The owner of the...

All I can say is awesome! A whole entire town wrapped up in about 4 blocks. Lodge was absolutely comforting, grills, soft comfy blankets, great bed. Great Bar b que on premise, stir around other side and bar across the street.

I did not have any reservation but arrived in early evening, being greeted cordially by the owner. Both Jenny and her husband were helpful getting me settled. The room was lovely, well-appointed, very clean and the bed was extremely comfortable . I only had planned to spend one night, on my way to a hiking adventure, but I would definitely...

We loved Detroit from the moment we pulled off highway 22. Small, quiet, beautiful. Everything is close together. Jennie greeted us warmly and got us settled into our room and showed us how to use the propane fireplace. Loved the decor of the room - the bed was very comfortable with clean, high quality linens and a super-comfy bedspread. Kitchenette...

The current manager (Jenny) has been there since July '16; she was very sweet and helpful. It's obvious she loves her job. The grounds were full of beautifully potted flowers and the view of the mountains across the street was great. The room was cozy and very nicely updated down to the light fixtures and decorations.

This was an excellent place to stay in Detroit, Oregon. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and there was nice seating outdoors for a picnic dinner or a morning cup of tea in the sun. The rooms have a microwave and a fridge and a coffee maker, which was convenient. But really what made this place extra nice was the...

It was a pleasant surprise for six motorcyclists when we arrived at the Lodge at Detroit Lake. None were familiar with the facility. Jenny was the ultimate hostess, the rooms were clean and the whole lodge was great. In addition the BBQ next door with Joe was excellent. This was one of those unknowns when traveling that turned out to...
