It's amazing how a few days spent in a magical place can completely rejuvenate you. From the moment we pulled our car up to the farmhouse, after passing by cows, buffalo, and stunning mountain scenery on the drive in, to the moment we checked out, our stay in the Seven Devils Suite was perfect. Emily's good company and fresh, healthy,...

We stayed four nights, two adults and a teen in the Seven Devils Suite, and had a lovely time. The land is beautiful, with rolling farmland under enchanting mountains. Emily and Rob treated us right with wonderful and creative breakfasts sourced locally. House and property just fine. Sad to be leaving now.

I was most looking forward to staying at the Barking Mad B&B during our 8-day road trip through Eastern Oregon and it definitely met my expectations. Emily and Rob have created a peaceful, homey retreat amongst the backdrop of the spectacular Wallowa mountain range. We stayed in the Treetops Suite along with our small dog. The suite is the entire...

Thank you so much for your positive review! We really enjoyed having you stay with us! We wanted to concur about the A/C issue in the Treetops Suite and let you, and future travelers, know that we have remedied the issue and now all three of our suites have A/C units. A B&B the way it should be. Beautiful surroundings, comfortable bed, delicious breakfast, gracious hosts, interesting and friendly guests, happy dogs with room to run and play, evening campfires sharing smores and wine and conversation. I highly recommend!

Our family of four and dog stayed in the Buffalo Suite and the Treetops Suite and enjoyed our stay a lot. The breakfast was amazing with several fresh food servings. The owners, Emily and Rob and their sweet dog Rue, were very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed relaxing outside with books and playing games on the deck. The farm setting...

Barking Mad Farm is a fabulous bed and breakfast. The house is lovely, and the rooms are large, well decorated and full of amenities. The location is perfect for exploring Joseph and the Wallowas. And, the breakfast prepared be Emily was pure gourmet, from the polenta cakes to the homemade granola. An experience not to be missed.

Barking Mad Farm was a wonderful find. The room was clean and charming. The hosts were wonderful and the breakfast was fabulous. We are still talking about the homemade granola. Great value and a "must" location on your travels.

Wake up to the Eagle Cap Mountain still covered with snow in late May, enjoy having breakfast out on the deck with this mountain range as a backdrop! We enjoyed our 1 night stay, waking up to strong coffee (just the way I like it!), and a delicious and wholesome breakfast. Emily and Rob are gracious hosts even welcoming our...

My boyfriend and I stayed for one night in the 7 Devils Suite. He was very apprehensive about staying in a bed & breakfast. He prefers the privacy and anonymity of a hotel. By the end of our trip, he had changed his tune: "Let's come back this summer." His change-of-heart was due entirely to the beautiful room, spectacular view,...
