We stayed at Eugene Hyatt for 3 nights. After the first night of no sleep, we moved to a new room because the bed was awful - it was caved in. The next night, in our new room, we found that it also had a very poor mattress - it wasn't as bad as the previous one, but I didn't get any sleep and my boyfriend and I both had sore backs in the morning. The rest of the hotel is very nice, but they obviously skimped on the mattresses and need to replace them.
We went for a funeral and also visit the family for wine tasting. Trader Joe's was right there for the wine, so it made my day. Sky bar was excellent, but paying $18.00 for a good glass of wine was overpriced.
A Good place, difficult to find as off main highway, and located upper stories of a shopping mall. I'm unable to recommend, due to location. Breakfast could use some assistance as small boxed breakfast with some eggs and sausage - would have been better with some potatoes or slightly larger portions.
Greta staff, friendly and professional service. Hotel and all amenities were well maintained and super clean. I felt very comfortable using the amenities and eating at the bar. The food options were great and tasted great. I liked that there was a mask mandate and the staff were diligent about making sure everyone followed.
Checked in Friday evening and did not learn about the lack of room service until Saturday evening at 9 o’clock I was told the service limitations were a result of Covid. I found the strange in that I saw bags of garbage in the hallways food left on the table in the lounge for 20 or 30 minutes after guests had gotten up and walked away from the table dogs walking around the lobby in the lounge and even in the breakfast service area lounge bathroom look like it hadn’t been cleaned in several hours and I never saw anybody from staff cleaning any of the surfaces in the hotel
