This hotel is neither well-appointed or nice. You feel as though you are in a grreat grandmother's attic. It's not elegant but more like the Salvation Army (no disrespect to the Salvation Army). Musty and gaudy.

The Excelsior has been a mainstay in Eugene for many years, and has not lost its touch. Service is professional. For was exceptional (I had the Osso Bucco). Being there made you appreciate how finely you can dine in a large town/small city (and there are other fine restaurants Eugene as well, but this is a review for the Excelsior)...

We stayed at the Excelsior Inn after attending a concert. The Inn had a lot of charm, we were in the Beethoven which had very thoughtful touches for guests- bathrobes, candies, cookies and nuts. There were also a nightlight in the bathroom, wine bottle stand and opener, wine glasses, keurig coffee maker, and ear plugs available in the night stands....

I was very happy to be able to book this for a recent business gathering. The location was good, (parking a bit tight). However the rooms are great (on the small side, but that's to be expected at a boutique hotel.) with good bedding and comfortable beds. The property is well maintained and the on-site food options are top shelf....

I had my wedding rehearsal dinner here on June 19th 2013 for 22 people. It was an AMAZINGLY DELICIOUS dinner, made with local ingredients and paired with wonderful Oregon wines. The staff was very nice and accommodating especially to the small children and people with allergies in our group! The silverware its self is beautiful, which is I guess an...

Very nice B and B, close to Peace Health Medical Center and U of O. The rooms are very small, but quaint. Breakfast is included and was good. Parking is difficult, but the staff does their best to accommodate issues- there is an additional lot nearby. There is not any outdoor garden space. Staff is friendly, but sparse. It is...

Our stay at Excelsior gave us a central location to explore the surrounding area. It is tucked in behind the Excelsior Restaurant right off the Oregon Campus. The European vibe is very comfortable and welcoming. The three story inn includes a beverage station on the second floor for coffee and tea. Breakfast is served in the bar via a coupon...

This is a small inn that has everything you could possibly need and/or want. Each room is themed, and named after a classical musician - Beethoven, Vivaldi, Bach. Rooms are always clean and staff is so helpful. There is free wifi as well. It is located just a few blocks from UofO campus so you can walk everywhere. There are...

The bed was very comfortable, but up high so for my short self I had to jump on and off. The Robes were in bathroom, clean and the restroom was very cute. Small amenities offered. Our room faces the street but there were shades to pull down. No noise at night that we could hear. Breakfast downstairs in their farm...

The Excelsior Inn was the perfect place to stay after a concert at MKA! Breakfast was included, and lovely. Comfy king bed, great shower, sweet room, and nice dining room, bar, patio! The desserts looked amazing. We tried to make a res for U of O graduation in 2019, but they're full!! Really!!
