Stayed one night before early morning flight out of Eugene. I arrived late and check in was at the restaurant, but super easy and pleasant. Very small parking area in the back, but if this is full, they give you a voucher for the nearly garage. The room was on the third floor - roomy, super clean and comfortable with...

As a previous reviewer mentioned, when you arrive you may have to step into the adjacent restaurant to have them call staff to register...this was hardly an inconvenience and we were in our room in moments. This Inn is charming with beautifully appointed rooms, high end sheets and towels and comfortable beds. There is a wonderful restaurant on the property...

Before you book, you need to know that the front desk staff goes home at 5 pm. After that, you rely on the restaurant downstairs to take care of you. After that, there is no one there------and that's what this hotel felt like. The bones are OK, but it lacked any kind of presence and it badly needs some updating....

The room was rather small but still quite cute and very clean. Very nice breakfast, loved farmed eggs Benedict. It is located conveniently close to University of Oregon if you are visiting your kid student. Even though there are restaurants and shopping around, it is still pretty quiet, not counting the train sounds that are heard pretty much everywhere. And...

The Excelsior Inn is a beautiful place to stay. The staff was great and the room, though small, was very nice. The food at their restaurant was delicious and the dinning room was comfortable. The only downside was that there wasn't a common sitting room to relax in, which I found disappointing. I would suggest staying in one of the...

The Excelsior is unique Inn in an old sorority house on the University of Oregon campus. The rooms are all named after famous musicians and the restaurant is outstanding. There is an Excelsior farm associated with the Inn where they get many of the food items needed by the restaurant. The people that worked there were very nice. It was...

Nice clean, quiet rooms. Free parking. Close to University of Oregon. Tea and coffee was located outside of room with a "share refrigerator" for leftovers and such. It would be better if each room had it's own small refrigerator with tea and coffee. The restaurant was a hit and miss. We dined two nights in a row because the first...

Made last minute reservations at the Excelsior when traveling through Eugene on a vacation road trip. We were lucky to get a room, the "Chopin", which was excellent. Clean, beautiful and extremely comfortable. One step better, we ate in their restaurant. Equally excellent. These people get it and do it right. I'd recommend it to anyone looking for that little...

This is a quite charming hotel located close to the central campus of the University of Oregon. I liked the paneled hallways and the comfortable appointment of the room. Don't expect much in the way of front-end services - the lobby is unmanned in the evenings (you need to go to the nearby restaurant to find someone), there is no...

Adjacent to the University of Oregon, this quiet, elegant boutique hotel is a surprise on a street of coffee shops and fast food restaurants. The rooms are small but well appointed, and there are extra touches like salted hazelnuts for a late night snack. The rooms are all named for composers and classical music was playing quietly when I entered....
