See what I wrote below. Everything I had problems with are under room tips. Very disappointed!! For the price I felt short changed. I have a better and cleaner motel room in Myrtle Point at 74 dollars a night.

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The pool was pleasantly warm and clean. Everything from breakfast, to pool to ocean made convenient :) All rooms have their own balcony and view of the beach. This was our first time at Gold Beach Resort, and we were very pleased. Hope to come stay again sometime

Hotel is a little outdated but very friendly and accommodating. Walk to the beach and beautiful sunsets. Breakfast was wonderful with more than one choice of food. Very friendly and helpful staff. The room was clean and comfortable. Would stay again.

The hotel was quite modern and spotlessly clean, the staff were friendly and efficient. The bedroom was a good size with an excellent bed. The bathroom was also a good size with toiletries and plenty towels. Breakfast was good. Besides the beautiful beach the location was average not within walking distance of many restaurants or shops.

The service was alright, some of the employees have attitudes. But overall was ok. Food was excellent, but the dinning area was small. The beds in 508 were extremely uncomfortable and we had to ask for more towels because there was only 1 towel and no wash clothes. The pool and jacuzzi were very oily. But its a beautiful place...

Our room seemed a bit musty when we arrived. Everything seemed in order and the balcony was a welcome sight. Great view of the sunset but the beach is not really visible unless you walk over to it. Some will find the uneven ground a challenge but the beach is very nice once you get there. The desk staff were...

The hotel has a good placement on the Southern Oregon coast. The motel is a bit "tired", with a few things that need fixing or replacement: lighting in the pool area and the switch for the hot tub need to be fixed; our curtains had a few holes in them. Service was pleasant and helpful.

We've been coming to the GBR for many years. We love this place on the non-crowded and beautiful southern Oregon coast. Great staff, very clean, beachfront location, and hard-boiled eggs for breakfast! What's not to like!

This is the BEST facility in Gold Beach! The facilities, the view and ambience, the excellent breakfast, and great access to beach were all top notch! AND, the day and night managers at the office were also very informative, and helpful in answering my questions about the area.

“The third floor has best views of the beach. The lower floor has pet friendly rooms. Parking is adequate, a pool is available as is a very limited fitness area. The buffet style breakfast is a plus. ALL of the staff we have met are wonderful young ladies”
