Wow, we love this peaceful place. We stayed in a cabin with a view of the Rogue River. There is a lovely trail that meanders along the river in front of the property. There is a charming pond with footbridge and waterfall adjacent to the main lodge. Our room was immaculate. We loved the gas fireplace and rocking chairs on... More

We booked at the last minute on a drive from CA to WA. Not only did they cut us a nice break, but the place was outstanding! We stayed in the room Clark Gable had used, and the ambiance was wonderful. Following a nice dinner in town, we sat in the lodge and Kim was a wonderful hostess for some... More

My husband and I were travelling on motorbikes Seattle to LA. We stayed here for two nights. Room 2. Comfy bed fantastic room. Beautiful outdoor fireplace lit at night. I can honestly say for me that this was the most special place we stayed throughout our 3 week trip of the west coast. Friendly and thoughtful. Wine and nibbles around... More

My husband and I stayed here as part of a trip for our anniversary. We were not disappointed. The cabin we stayed in was spacious and very comfortably appointed. We enjoyed the evening snacks sitting in adirondack chairs by the outdoor fire pit near the main lodge or in the rocking chairs on our "back porch". Wine was served for... More

Our stay was wonderful here. Beautiful property and nice people working here. Maintenance man, Glen came and fixed a sink drain for us and was very friendly. They even have a fire pit for smores. Yay!

This is our third time at the Weasku. Always have the same great cabin on the river. Before we only stayed one night each this time we decided to stay two nights. Grants Pass is easy access to Crater Lake and a short ride to Harry and David's headquarters. But more about Weasku. This is a historic lodge that has... More

All I can say is that I am sorry we could only spend one night here. Most of the rooms are log cabins, arranged in pairs. All sited in the woods with a view of the river through the trees. The cabin was well designed and spotless. A guy was even coming round with a feather duster cleaning the cobwebs... More

I think it was #42, a cabin all the way to the right as you walk down the hill to the water's edge. You got the feeling that everyone there was just like you. You meet the other guests at the evening hors d'oeuvres with wine on the back 'porch'. You also can recognize guests at the breakfast. It had... More

I enjoyed staying here, with the comfortable bed, proximity to the Rogue River and grounds. Delicious cookies served in the evening and a full breakfast served in the am. Great staff. We stayed in the main lodge, which is close to the road. There was a bit or road noise that bothered my husband, but I slept great. I plan... More

Found Weasku Inn on TripAdvisor, and loved, loved, loved it. Weasku Inn is an historic lodge and was a hangout for celebrities since the 1920's. We had an upstairs suite in the main building which had so much character as a mountain lodge, but with all modern amenities. It was nicely appointed with a large elevated bed, dresser, desk, comfy... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
This Oregon legend was built in 1924 along the banks of the scenic Rogue River. It was a vacation retreat to many Hollywood personalities such as Clark Gable, Carol Lombard and Walt Disney. In 1993, Country House Inns purchased the Weasku Inn and began restoring it. In September of 1998, the restoration was complete, the five rooms in the Lodge having been updated, while the original character and splendor was maintained. In addition, eleven cabins were built on the property and an original A Frame cabin remodeled. Since its completion, "Travel and Leisure Magazine" named this historic landmark "one of the top 25 Lodges in the United States". Recently, in "1,000 Places to See Before You Die: A Traveler's Life List ", Patricia Shultz declared the Weasku Inn one of those "must see" places. We invite you to step back in time, restore yourself and create new beginnings at the wonderful Weasku Inn. Our accommodations include:5 Lodge Rooms, 11 River Front Cabins, 1 A-Frame Cabin, and a Three Bedroom River House All rooms are non-smokingSorry, no pets allowed Check-in 3pm / Check-out Noon 72 hour cancellation policy Children 12 and under stay free when occupying same room with an adult Complimentary wireless Internet throughout the property Meeting & Event Space for up to 40 people All accommodations include a full hot breakfast, a complimentary afternoon appetizer reception and evening milk & cookies ... more   less
