This lovely historic hotel scored high on my books. Besides being a beautiful, small (rooms included) hotel, which I love, creaky and filled with old wood and history, they saved my bacon. I called in a reservation from a few hours away, client trip to...More

We were there on a Sunday night and didn't need to pay for parking at night. However, we paid the $3 for a permit to put in our window to cover the next morning after 8 am. You can't park on the main street but it was easy finding a place on the street up from the hotel--a very short walk. We loved the restaurant in the hotel and that's where we had dinner. The owner was really nice and it made for an easy place to go after a long day of driving. We later walked up and down the street and there were other nice looking and packed restaurants. Breakfast at the hotel was perfect.
