This place was great. The experience was amazing. The front desk staff were fast, really friendly and gave great recommendations. We stayed in room 27 with a partial river view. The entire room was really clean, the bed was really comfy and clean. Its obvious they put alot of effort into the rooms. With the added touches of the wine...

We booked a night at the Westcliff (or the Vagabond, as some of the materials in our room identified it as) because of a booking snafu at a much pricier place about 25 yards down the road. Their loss, our gain, as we had a great experience at the Westcliff. There is a breathtaking view just a short walk from...

My husband and I were on a road trip and pulled in to this hotel after midnight. the Westcliff Lodge had a pet friendly room available for us at a really great price. It was a cute, well equipped room with a view of the river. We had a great nights sleep in one of the most comfortable hotel beds...

Lovely place to spend a nice weekend relaxing, in touch with the environment in a nice quaint little town. I will definitely come back during the hotter weather to enjoy that lovely river and do some hiking!

We came here for a 2-day mid-week getaway in the middle of an unusual (read LONG!) winter. Booked online and got a great rate. In warmer weather, I imagine this place would be packed as it is right on the river. The room (2 queen beds) feels new and was very clean, modern and comfortable. Check-in was very welcoming, even...

Thanks for your review, yes it was a long winter! Most of the snow has melted off, but it was certainly fun while it was here. Hood River's a great place to be to enjoy a "winter wonderland" kind of getaway when we have winters like these. Pine Street is a great spot, and if you like pizza bring a...

View rooms have the same view as from neighboring in Columbia Gorge Hotel at one third the cost. Luxury bedding was a surprise! We walked to the Buffalo Bistro for dinner. Recommend the Chicken Curry rise dish. The Bistro had a good selection of quality wines that can be purchased by the bottle at reasonable retail prices and opened and...

Thanks for your review! Yep, the Buffalo has the best wine selection around! All of their wines are hand-picked, and they're excellent at finding great wines for people. Thanks again!

Found this place online, great choice! Paid extra for the view and was worth it. The room was large and very comfy, the bed was comfortable, tables showed sings of love (wear) but we thought it made it homey. Didn't get a chance to explore the grounds as it was snowing heavily, but think they are probably very nice. Love...

Thanks for your support! Yes, we're into our 3rd generation of our small family business, and look forward to making it even better. It certainly has been a snowy winter; if you visit in late April the blossoms on the cherry trees should be blooming and all the wildflowers will be coming back out after their winter away. Thanks again!

There were beautiful views of the Columbia River out the windows of our suite. We had a super cozy one bedroom suite with a wood-burning fireplace, and small kitchen. Our dog was welcomed with a very small fee. Very friendly staff. There was even a swing set and slide for the kids to play on. It was a perfect spot...

Thanks for your review, glad you had a great birthday celebration! We've got a couple more improvements planned for the grounds for kids to enjoy, hopefully if the weather cooperates this spring we can get it built. Thanks again!

We had a wonderful 2 night stay at Westcliff Lodge. From check in to check out and everything in-between we felt very welcome. Nothing was too much trouble, we had booked a 1 bedroom suite with fireplace and river view, and ordered extra timber in advance. What we had ordered plus extra was waiting for us at the room. The...

Thanks much for your review, glad you had a great time visiting us! Yes, I agree that walking to town with the amount of snow we've had is a little tricky, and with good weather the 2-mile walk into town is nice We do only have 3 wood-fireplace suites, so the best way to reserve one is definitely give our...
