We didn't want to leave! Deanna and John are fabulous hosts and words and pictures cannot describe how beautiful it is at Sakura Ridge! We stayed in the Mount Adams room and it was perfect. There is a large common area with a kitchen for all the guests to use. We enjoyed reading on the sofa and having our coffee...

We absolutely loved our time at this beautiful lodge. The setting is spectacular. As soon as we arrived, we met John, the innkeeper/farmer. He asked if we would like to help move the sheep...well yes of course! What fun! We felt like we stepped into another world and loved every minute of it. We stayed in a separate little cabin...

It must have been perfect timing on your arrival to get in on the sheep herding. After harvest we put the sheep in the orchards and they sure love the dropped fruit. We call Sakura Ridge lamb "Pear Finished." Thanks for staying with us. Deanna and John

Hands down the best place to stay in the Gorge! A close drive to downtown Hood River, with nothing left to be desired. We cannot wait to go back! Great place for a romantic getaway and also family friendly.

We stayed in the Orchard room for two nights and it was one of the best places we've ever stayed. The Orchard room is the most private from what I understand, which is exactly what we were looking for. Our room was incredibly well thought out and very cozy. Very nice amenities within the room and the bathroom was amazing...

Thank you for sharing your experience at Sakura Ridge. We would love to host you again. The farm is beautiful in April with 6,000 fruit trees in blossom. Summer brings the best blackberries ever to the breakfast table. September and October we have pears and plums fresh from the farm. Happy travels. Best regards. Deanna and John Joyer

We stayed in the Orchard Room. We loved it! The hosts were very friendly, the room very comfortable, the grounds well maintained, the breakfast was very tasty, and the view out the back of Mt Hood is simply awesome. The road up to the property can get a bit bumpy, but worth the effort. Would definitely stay here again. Highly...

My husband and I stayed for two nights at Sakura Ridge. It's a little bit of a drive out of town and you begin to wonder where exactly you are going but when you find yourself at the lodge, the view will simply take your breath away. The lodge is beautiful as well. We stayed in the Mt. Adams room....

Sakura Ridge was the perfect peaceful getaway my boyfriend and I needed after his four day USMasters swim meet in Gresham, OR. We stayed in the Orchard room with a stunning view of Mount Hood from our room/private deck. The Japanese furnishings, deep soaking tub and high end bedding were both aesthetic and luxuriously comfortable. With the only sounds the...

Sakura Ridge Lodge and Farm is amazing: a great view of Mt. Hood from our window, a stunning lodge nestled in a working fruit farm and, amazing breakfasts. Plus, just 18 minutes to downtown Hood River. Just a fantastic place.

Sakura Ridge was a very special part of our recent trip to Oregon. When we arrived, it felt like we had stepped into paradise. The lush green farm, the impeccably designed and decorated lodge and Mt Hood majestically ruling the views. We had debated staying in the Hood River town directly or staying here, and we made the right choice!...
