We were with friends visiting Crater Lake in April this year. Stopped for lunch & found the best food. Went back for breakfast the next morning & was surprised once again. We were not the first Aussies to find this place, but we certainly won't be the last as it's great value & fresh food with fantastic service! If you...

We stopped for a quick lunch yesterday, and were we pleasantly surprised!!! OMG--best food I've eaten in Oregon, including my own. The proprietors, Ron and Jessica, were friendly and welcoming. They make EVERYTHING from scratch using fresh ingredients and a lot of love. We had prime rib and pulled pork sandwiches with homemade baked beans and fresh brewed tea, followed...

Our Sat Nav suggested this place and we phoned to book without being able to check it out first. The welcome from Ron and Jessica was superb and the dinner and breakfast excellent. The prime rib was to die for! They have not been here long so they are working hard to update the decor and refurbish the bedrooms so...

Feb 23, 2014 while visiting my cousins, who live in Glide took me to the lodge for (the best french toast) in the world. I had the all you can eat french toast and was somewhat surprised, it really was the best I have ever had (sorry Mom). It is made on Texas toast with a very special (SECRET FAMILY...

This B & B is older and not too fancy, but it has a nice location on the North Umpqua river. It's warm and cozy with a wonderful fireplace and spectacular proprietors. They are very friendly and make you feel right at home. The food is delicious and the price is very reasonable. We had a great time and would...

You can't ask for better hospitality. Ron and Jessica put in great effort and it reflects well on the "Idleyld Lodge". We stopped by for dinner and were treated like the VIPs. Food was delicious and service was warm and friendly. I'll encourage my friends to give them a try. If you're headed up HWY 138/North Umpqua/Diamond Lake/Crater Lake, this...

Below average room, above average food. Very nice couple, a work in progress to be sure. Hope to stay again when/if renovations are complete. The trailer park just above the lodge was a little spooky.

After a great day taking in Crater Lake, my partner and I were tired, hungry and in need of a feed. We chanced upon Idleyld Lodge and were so glad we did. Ron is a great host, big smile, friendly, helpful and talkative. He takes great pride in his Lodge, showing us his different themed rooms and his awesome project...

We live in Eugene but recently bought some land in Glide, Oregon. I asked a neighbor if there was a motel nearby I could stay at while I worked on the land and they recommended Idleyld Lodge. Ron (part owner) was very helpful and accommodating when I showed up very hungry, tired and dirty from working all day outside. The...
