We stayed at this motel when we had to stop driving due to bad weather. Only stay here if you have absolutely no other choice. Check in is at the gas station next to the motel. The rooms are extremely outdated, the TV is the size of a computer screen, and there are no amenities. No WiFi. The bed sank...

We were skeptical when we made our reservations, and Whitey took the call. When we arrived we were pleasantly surprised. Jordan Valley is a small town that is on the Oregon/Idaho border. For the money paid, this motel was well worth it. Clean, 2 queen beds, TV, air conditioner and table with chairs. Back of the motel faces a beautiful...

This place was clean with large rooms, comfortable beds and a reasonable rate of $64 for two queen beds. I have driven by this place several times because we just didn't expect much in such a remote location with only one Motel. The office is at the Shell gas station and th operators are very cordial. We would definitely stop...

Let's face it. If you're in Jordan Valley there aren't many (or any other) options. The day was getting late so we decided to stop here. As far as places to stay it was clean. The fact that there are no windows was weird plus there were spent shell casings in the parking lot was odd.

Whatever you read about BSM, it's the only place to stay within an hours drive of Jordan Valley, so if you have to stay in town, be prepared. Although clean, it's basic, to say the least. No wifi (go and have a drink at the nearby cafe run by Cindy to use their free wifi) and no cell reception in...

When passing through the area, working, recreating, or stuck in a blizzard there is a warm..or cool place to stay. The décor leaves much to be desired but it is clean. Get an upstairs room if you can as it's pretty noisy when folks move around. It's also smart to call ahead if you know you will need a room...

I'll start by clarifying that I don't think there is actually a Basque Station Motel in Jordan Valley. When we drove through there in July 2014 there was the Motel which looked like it had closed down and the Basque Inn (restaurant and accommodation). This review is for the Basque Inn. We pulled into Jordan Valley at sunset so we...

As others have noted here, this place is all you get between Winnemucca and anywhere else in Idaho/Oregon.( I did see a sign for a hotel in Rome, but didn't see a hotel, might be worth checking out though) Allergic to cats and bothered by mold I was unable to sleep unless I had my mouth and nose covered, the...

We stayed here because night was falling and the next town was almost an hour away. While this motel is pretty old and shows it, the room was huge and the kid who worked at the gas station next door was extremely helpful. We loved eating breakfast at the Basque restaurant.

We stayed here because it was halfway to our final destination. When we checked in, I was told that they had wake-up calls. I said that if there was a clock radio in the room, we would not need a wake-up call. I was told there was one. When we went to the room, there was no clock at all....

“We were on the main floor and only noisy in early AM when maids are cleaning upstairs”

“Ask to see your room before you check in so you understand what you are getting. Jordan Valley is in the middle of nowhere so it is either the Inn or the back of your car. I'd take the comfortable beds and clean showers of the Inn anyday.”
