Its a short drive up Hwy 140 from Hwy 62. We happened to hit the weather perfectly in the 3rd week of October 2018. They are doing some improvements to the facility, but we were never bothered by noise. Beautiful mountain lake, friendly staff.
Lake of the Woods lodge is a scene from the '50s with simple cabins and a main lodge that offers good meals in a classic lodge setting. The marina is excellent with 92 clear gas for boats. The Marina pizzeria makes excellent pizzas.
