I totally loved my (unfortunately only one night) stay! Such a great location - right by the sea, quiet, with wonderful views. There are fireplaces in the rooms, which also add a lot to the athmosphere. I was lucky enough to have eggs benedict for breakfast and it was the best I ever had - I am a serious foodie....

We received a warm friendly welcome from the owner, and given cookies and wine. Our room was very good with lovely views. The shower was excellent, breakfast very good. Close enough to walk on the beach. Contrary to any reports on here, the dog was very friendly and you are asked if you would like to be introduced. My only...

What a find! I read reviews on at least 10 bed and breakfasts on the northern Oregon coast and happened to book Tyee Lodge. From our welcome (fresh baked cookies and coffee, soft drinks or wine--always available) to recommendations on places to visit and eat, to the wonderful rooms (all with ocean views) and outdoor Adirondack chairs to enjoy the...

Tyee lodge is a small B&B just about 10 minutes drive north of Newport. It is about a block west of the highway on a dead-end road. All of the rooms overlook the ocean and the Yaquina headlands, where the National Park Service maintains the lighthouse. Our room was spacious and comfortable. From the house a path leads down to...

Spent two nights here in February for a quick weekend getaway. While I have enjoyed B&B's in Europe, I have been reluctant to stay in one in the US... I've heard some weird stories from friends about their experiences and figured it wasn't going to be an option for us. We took a chance with the Tyee Lodge and it...

Amazing views, delicious breakfast, very comfortable bed! Would love to return! The grounds were very well kept, with cool trail down to the beach...the owner recommended we make short hike to a nature area that included a lighthouse, which was fantastic!

We had an fabulous two night stay during great weather in May. If you want to be on the go, Tyee Lodge is a great base for exploring this section of the Oregon coast. It is also a cozy spot to spend idle hours relaxing and enjoying the calm of a great view in peaceful surroundings. Dee lives on the...

The Location is the biggest draw here. You are close enough to walk to Yaquina Head Lighthouse (about 1.5 miles) and the view from your room of the beach is breathtaking. The rooms are adequate size with a great en-suite bath and fireplace to boot. The proprietors are friendly and the breakfast are very good. The condition and decor are...

We stayed over Valentine's day weekend and could not have been more delighted. 24 hours a day there are wine, tea, fresh baked homemade cookies, popcorn, and a relaxing open space with gas fireplace. We stayed in the Alsea room which was comfortable and had a gas stove for extra heating and a lovely view of pine trees and ocean....

We've been coming to the Oregon coast for many years but the first time we've stayed at this wonderful B&B. We were searching for a place to spend a few days and stopped here to look at the available rooms. Dee, the innkeeper, showed us the rooms and understood our looking elsewhere, admitted we wouldn't be able to walk to...
