Great location. Marathon start was very near. Loved the beachfront. Would recommend a room not on ground floor so one can securely sleep with window open. The staff was friendly and welcoming. Georgie’s is a great place to eat.

Amazing location, view and room. While the building is older, the rooms were really nice, recently updated (except the tub/shower) and well appointed. It was my husbands birthday and a bottle of bubbly and a nice note were waiting for him in our room. We ate at Georgie's both nights and it was fabulous with a good menu/food, views and great servers. About a mile walk into the quaint town with shops, restaurants and barking seals.

My husband & I had long dreamed of driving the PCH South from Astoria & I was fortunate enough to have the opportunity to do so in June, 2023. I decided to book 2 nights at this amazing resort to add to & prolong the experience after my husband died unexpectedly following an accident at work in 2017. This could not have been a better decision & overall experience, short of my husband being with me. I ended up extending my stay x1 night…breathtaking & very welcoming environment. Service from arrival to departure was outstanding. Front desk even went out of their way to provide fresh beach blankets to use for our beach outing. It was a rainy day, the blankets made for an enjoyable evening.

This hotel has the BEST views and the friendliest staff. You can walk right down to the beach from the hotel. The pool/hotub is open late which was really nice (11pm). The rooms are updated with a big mini fridge (no freezer in ours). The beds were comfortable and there is a restaurant attached to the hotel so you can order room service if you prefer to stay in. Staff was very helpful with food recommendations. We loved our stay!

My family has made a grand adventure to Newport, Ore. for many, many years. Sadly, the Hallmark will not be part of that adventure any longer. The quality of the resort, sadly, in our family’s opinion—only—has not received the care that a resort of its former quality. Toward that end, we will choose to stay elsewhere.

Beautiful location with walk-out patio. Easy access to Georgie's a very fine restaurant. We were not advised we would have room adjacent to pet-friendly rooms. Dog barking in adjacent room was annoying and could have been avoided if we were aware of it ahead of our stay. Tile floor was sticky in spots. Getting TV to work was impossible without maintenance assistance two of three nights we were there. Staff were professional and friendly.

Room was very spacious and welcoming. For the most part it was quiet. Beautiful ocean view and just a very special beautiful trip for me and my 2 beautiful woman. Jacuzzi tub in the room was big and relaxing. We all enjoyed the time spent relaxing in it.
