I greatly enjoyed my trip to Cape Kiwanda. Felt good to get away and play on the dunes. The people were friendly and thoughtful. It felt like home but better. I look forward to returning to Pacific City and staying at the Cape Kiwanda.
Excellent location, across the street from the ocean. All rooms face the ocean and have a view of the large rock that is the highlight of Pacific City. Directly across the street from a very nice brewery/restaurant. We did both lunch and dinner there and...More

Yes, you can drive in designated areas at Cape Kiwanda and to the North and South of the Cape. We highly recommend to only take 4 wheel drive vehicles, be confident in your driving abilities (sand can react a bit like snow), and watch the ocean because that tide can come in fast. Don't leave your vehicle near the tide and walk away, many have lost their trucks that way before. Lastly, please don't park where the dory boats launch, you will get a ticket and it makes it hard for Dorymen to come and go as needed. Have fun and be safe!
