A quaint, refurbished, clean and quiet motel (a product of the 50's) convenient to the highway. We knew we would need to have an overnight break on our 1000 mile road trip. Rugged Country Lodge economically met our needs.
This was a very clean comfortable room in Pendleton. It was also reasonably priced. The owner is very personable and kind. There is a lot of character to this lodge, not like any other. I would recommend this place to anyone.

We found this hotel easily from the freeway and were pleasantly surprised at the quaint room which was clean and comfy. Loved the price as well!
Be advised this is very close to an active railroad if that would bother you.

If you just show up at midnight, you probably won't find anybody to check you in. But the owners are very friendly, so if you call ahead to let them know when you expect to arrive, I imagine they'd be willing to work with... More
