The set up in the room is very basic like an average motel room but thats okay. But the floor was very dirty. My kid’s feet were charcoal black in a matter of mins walking in the room. Towels were not very clean either. Keys cards don’t work well at all. It takes multiple swipes every time.. The key lock is very old. I brought a small dog and was charged $15 for pet fee. Ended up paying more than my original plan, to stay at La Quinta (4 miles away). I guess one would have to settle for something way less when you have a slightly better location. If you have a car, I would recommend you stay somewhere a little further but much more comfortable.

Hi there, we spent Thanksgiving in Portland and wished to be able to walk to my sister-in-laws condo, so we picked this motel. The check-in was flawless and the desk attendant handled quite a crowd with professional efficiency. We obtained the card key and walked across the street to the annex to see our room. It was stark, no carpeting or bedspread which is okay by me, as I’ve never fancied other peoples dirt. The room was clean. So, we went back to the family festivities and returned much later. As soon as I could, I tumbled into bed…..and was surprised. I’m not sure what was going on, but it was almost like the bed was rejecting me! The springs were making ** SPRONG!!** noises, and it was so bumpy and wobbly that I couldn’t quite get in. Then when my boyfriend got in, the whole mattress began to rock and **boing!** and the snap crackle pop that defined the night. No matter how we tried, it was impossible to get comfortable. I didn’t sleep all night but for a brief bit, and honestly, the pain from my very uncomfortable positions kept waking me up. It was a long and brutal night. Yikes. I suppose we should have brought a mattress of our own. It would have been more comfortable on the floor on our camping pads! I was glad, but sore and groggy in the morning to get out of bed fairly early (6:30) I won’t suggest this motel to anyone, and we will just have to drive further next time. I damm near died of terminal bedspring torture. Nice staff, though!

Room Tip: Beware the bed in room 123. It’s bloodthirsty!

The room was extremely clean. It had all of the basics, and was very dated. The area was ok to walk alone during the day and early evenings. The bed had a vertical support down the middle of the bed that made the bed extremely uncomfortable. The staff were nice and friendly. It was one of the cheapest options in the area, and all things considered, I would consider staying again.

What a wonderful place to stay! Every staff member is so friendly and helpful, the location is great (and by far the safest/nicest place to stay especially now since covid), the rooms have everything you need and just an overall great experience. I will 100% be returning and highly recommend to all!

We stayed in the motel “inn”. Everything was clean and it felt clean. No carpet, which was great. Free slippers and above average toiletries. But the room needed blackout curtains to have adequate privacy. Also a mini fridge and microwave would be nice. The location is great for Portland because you’re close to many good restaurants and gardens, but also have free parking with your stay.
