This is a great location. It is not a big hotel but has its own safe parking area, breakfast, near restaurants, freeway access. They also give a discounted rates for UP families. The staff has always been helpful also.

Went here for an anniversary weekend, and had a great time. Location is convenient to downtown and the freeway and is walking distance to the trendy and charming alphabet district that has many shops and restaurants. If you love ice cream, make a visit to salt & straw on 23rd. The line can be out the door, but they move...

We had a great one night stay at Silver Cloud Inn in Portland. Convenient to downtown. Very clean and well apportioned rooms. Free parking is a huge plus as well. I would definitely stay here again if I returned to the area. I highly recommend.

Tired from driving, we got a room late in the day. Very easy checking in, got to select our room's location next to elevator for husband's mobility issues. Very clean & comfortable. Two blocks from a very cool NW Portland neighborhood with great food & shops. We will be back soon!

We didn't want to pay the premium prices and high parking fees often required at the city's in-town hotels. Silver Cloud is right off a major highway in NW Portland. It doesn't have any kind of special view,...

Friendly...NEW...clean...quiet...breakfast in the morning is a cut above your typical motel breakfast...right at the foot of the quaint and attractive NW 23rd St shopping area...half the cost of a downtown fancy hotel and guess what? When you are asleep? You don't even know you are not surrounded by accoutrements! You could take all the money you save and buy better...

Every time we stay here it gets better - not sure how this is possible, but it's true. We love the "walkability" factor to numerous restaurants, shops, groceries, cafes, etc. Free, easy parking. Close access to freeways + downtown. Wonderful front desk staff including Barbara the front desk manager and Josh. Complimentary breakfast. Rooms on top floor in the rear...

The Silver Cloud Inn is an awesome place! Covered parking, great rooms (vanity had 2 sinks!!), and the staff is wonderful! Left too early every morning I was there so I missed breakfast... the location is also great... Nob Hill shopping area is right around the corner. 5 *s!!
