On the whole a good hotel, decor fun & funky, bed comfy, location in a great neighbourhood. The only moan was to forget the breakfast, every item was super sweet with the token unripe pears or mangos on offer, and please don't make us use plastic cutlery, we smuggled our cutlery from the room to use for the first breakfast... Great funky hotel. Rooms all have full kitchen but the area has so many restaurants we didn't use ours. Free breakfast had good choices and there was free tea and coffee at all hours in reception. Also a coffee maker in room. Free wifi and free parking too. One free streetcar ride per stay as well. Decor may not be... More

Easy check in, love the neighborhood being right on the streetcar line with tons of restaurants within walking distance. Free tickets provided for the streetcar. Free parking, easy to locate from the freeway. Was aware of the funky look of the rooms and lobby area but when we walked in our huge room with a full refrigerator, stove, microwave, sink,... More

When we first arrived, I was initially disappointed. The lobby was very unassuming and had a stale smell. It looks like a converted apartment building. The hallway on the 3rd floor had a very strange odor that never got better in the 4 days we were there. But... The room was clean (very small bathroom), beds were super comfortable, good... More

We loved our suite here. We had a very comfortable king bed, a small kitchen, a couch, chair and two TVs. Also were right near the rooftop deck, and it was so nice to sit out there by the fire and spend a few hours at night. The hotel is right on the streetcar line and a short cab ride... More

This was of the best hotels we have stayed at since we retired in 2010. It is adjacent to a NS trolley stop; the rooms and baths are both oversized; the breakfast was better than average; off-street free parking; big fluffy towels; and really up-beat counter staff. It is also 2 to 4 blocks from plenty of dining options along... More

We stayed at this eclectic and bright hotel to end our travels throughout Oregon. It is perfectly located in Northwest Portland near restaurants and shops, but they will provide street car passes if you want to venture further downtown. Clean rooms. It was nice to have a fridge and microwave for late night snacks. Breakfast was okay. Mostly bagels, yogurt and cereal. Don't expect eggs, bacon or other hot foods. We slept on the street side with balcony. With the AC on, we could barely hear the streetcar. Only complaint is the towels...they were very scratchy and rough.

It started well - the hotel is right on the streetcar line and looks like it was just renovated (with a very brightly colored brush I might add, but it's cute).
