Good, but not great hotel. Northwest neighbourhood is nice to stay, cheaper than Pearl District and downtown, but easy to go there walking (around 6-8 blocks) or by bus (there is a station in front of the hotel). The room was very big, with a good kitchen. The breakfast is good. The style is unique, very colourful and fun, anyway...

Thanks for your review! We are happy to hear that you found our location ideal for your Portland adventure. It is very true that we are a unique and colorful hotel, no beige colored walls here! While we understand this isn't for everyone, we like to try to “keep Portland weird.” Thanks again for your review! Iliana Tovar

The old real estate axiom certainly applies here – location, location, location. Not only is The Inn at Northrup Station a short walk to dozens of restaurants, bars and shops, you are just steps away from a streetcar line that will transport you downtown, to the Pearl District, or a transfer to the CL Line to explore the East side...

The employees here are so incredibly kind and helpful. The decor is awesome and their sense of humor shines throughout the place. The place is so convenient since the street car stop is right outside and they comp you a ticket. I highly recommend this place!!

The hotel is studio apartments converted to nightly rentals, so the rooms are--ROOMY!--and the Jetson decor is very fun. Streetcars can take you anywhere in Portland but the NW neighborhood has lots of good eating and boutique shopping. Nice quiet location. The outside porch on the 3rd floor is a great place to hang out on a sunny day.

This hotel has a great location and is a decorated in lighthearted fun colors with original artworks throughout. I spent a lot of time at the Inn since I had to work on a project while in Portland. Having a tiny balcony was nice ( even without the tiki torches) Parking is difficult in that are so the parking lot...

I arrived very late on a summer Oregon evening, and walked into an explosion of color and light. The gentleman at the front desk was warm and welcoming despite the late hour. He seemed to really enjoy guests reactions when they first enter the place. I was particularly struck by the investments in whimsical local artwork. This is a gem...

This 70 room newly decorated hotel is smashingly appointed in the brightest colours of pink orange, green and purple and it all works as there is a fun sense of design which is well carried throughout the small lobby/breakfast area and the rooms. Great location to hop onto the streetcar and make your way around town to Powell's bookstore, Saturday Farmers' Market, several breweries, the riverfront, etc. The staff is pleasant and helpful with restaurant recommendations and the room was clean, comfortable, and spacious. Loved the kitchenette with the full refrigerator. Would go back!
