I wasn't expecting much from this hotel given the reasonable price, but I was very surprised. The hotel is clean and not bad to look at.The proximity to the MAX light rail station is very convenient for accessing downtown, especially if you're not from the area and are unsure of how to navigate the city.

Stayed at the Palms to accommodate some budget conscious friends. But, was pleasantly surprised by how clean and safe this motel was. There is a fun tiki bar within walking distance. The women at the desk was friendly and personable. It is a far way from where we were going usually, but, we were never much more than a 10...

This is the 2nd year in a row we have stayed here, it is so clean and cute. The owner is really nice and he really went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed. We look forward to staying again next year. Price is great and nice location. I like the fact that there is...

A vintage motor court motel just a short distance outside Portland. Rooms were clean and staff was helpful. A two minute walk to the light rail transit stop (trains run every six mins into downtown). Great place for a weekend getaway. Check out the neon sign at night.

We stayed at the Palm’s motel recently as we were attending a concert downtown. The hotel is like stepping into a time warp. Very 70’s. But we didn’t mind. Staff super friendly and hotel very clean. Curtains very good a blocking out the light considering the giant neon sign outside.. :) The only issue is that it cost more to...

Palms motel is in a really cool neighbourhood, walking distance to a few nice bars, food, bank etc. We had a corner smoking room and it was a lot bigger than expected! Comfy beds, free wifi, the front desk ladies where really helpful. The train station is across the street and it takes about 15 mins to get right downtown....

My husband and I stayed here 5 nights. We knew from the other Tripadvisor reviews the Palms would be nothing fancy. It had plenty of space, a comfy bed, laundry facilities was clean and in a good location. The staff were nice too. It's right next to a tram stop which takes you into the city centre. It's also walking...

This looked like a good deal. The room was adequate and it did have free Wi-Fi. The place was not well cared for. My downstairs neighbor had loud drumming music playing all night. The staff was not friendly. The best part was its proximity to the light rail.
