We drove over 12 hours to visit family through storms and we get to a room that’s caked with dust, pubes all in the toilet, Nasty grime and mold all in the water pressure less showers and “jetted tub” more like shallow bathtub with no working jets. We paid $200 extra for an upgrade to the room and it was an absolute joke. Our first time in Oregon and staying at this hotel ruined our entire trip. The manager Rachel is deplorable. She is disrespectful, rude, condescending and has no place being in the hospitality industry. I was assured that the actual manager would call me but the company has her split between two properties and did not get to talk to her for two weeks with me calling to check if she was ever in and front desk just saying she is busy. This is not the place for a get away! I’m a first time mom and this was supposed to be a great trip, thank you for nothing! The front staff: Brenda, Stacey, Becca were very great, I felt heard and like something positive might come out of it. But my hope was lost with our room and that nasty chick Rachel

Loved the cozy and classic boutique feel of this hotel with beautiful art and design touches. We had a room with a balcony patio with couches, gas fireplace and string lights! It was so pretty and cozy. They are pet friendly and provide dishes and beds for your furry family. Super friendly service - we will definitely be back.

In my first trip to Portland, I was overwhelmed with the kindness, knowledge and warmth of the staff and hotel. The creative manner in which the room was set up blew my mind. Every accommodation was met! I will be back here WITH MY FRIENDS!

I loved everything about the hotel. Club does get a little rowdy with a crowd between 20-25 yes old but it is fun to be around. The room was clean spacious and i loved that the Queen came with a patio outside. The front desk was very friendly and helpful even when the place was packed on a Friday night.

We just checked out of the sentinel. I know there is no true 5 star in Portland but was hoping to come close due to the good reviews. The reality was it was not even a 3 star. We paid a hefty $300 a night for the rooftop fire pit room. The fire pit was nice but it was a little dirty and the cushions for the chairs had to be requested as they don’t leave them there when you check in. We had several issues with the room: one of the lamp switches was missing so you couldn’t turn it off fully, the TV wouldn’t turn on (I think they replaced the remote batteries eventually), and the sink kept clogging. All this on top of the fact that there was no housekeeping which I guess is standard during the pandemic but I literally did not see one housekeeper around the entire trip. We had to request towels multiple times before we got them and one night the front desk girl left her post to bring us those and toilet paper. Besides this young lady, we found the front desk staff inattentive and unhelpful. I utilized the gym twice, which despite being a public space, was also not cleaned. The same dirty towels were piled up and no clean ones put out and the trash was overflowing two days in a row. Please look for a different hotel.
