Stayed here 9 years ago and again this month. Cool and hip hotel, friendly stuff, clean room. Lots of young people around. We had breakfast they offered which was very good. Not noisy at all. Allows dogs.

Stayed here for 3 nights in a standard room with a tub. Great, central location with the bonus of a Stumptown attached to the lobby (but don't get lazy and only get your coffee from downstairs).

The hotel has a small uncovered lot a block away from the hotel, right across from a park that seems to be a popular hangout for the homeless. After parking in the lot overnight we found that someone had pooped behind my car. Maybe that's part of the quirky appeal of Portland, but I did not like having to step over a pile of poo to put bags in the trunk.
