Even though the hotel is partially under a restaurant renovation, nice touches were offered such as an evening drink and snack from a food truck parked outside(Unique). Personnel in the hotel were very accommodating and went out of their way to make you feel comfortable. The hotel rooms were nice, clean and comfortable.

Yes, the restaurant is closed. Yes, the bar is closed. Will you starve or dehydrate? Nope. The hotel has a food truck outside for afternoon foods and a bar set up in the lobby. This is all until the renovation is complete. In the meantime, enjoy the location and the rooms. If you need anything, as we quickly learned, the...

Hello BoiseHotelee, Thanks for being our valued guest! It's great to hear that you enjoyed our food cart and alternate F&B experiences during our restaurant renovation. You are absolutely correct in that our great staff, location and guestrooms are still here for everyone to enjoy. Thanks for recognizing Max! He's truly an asset to our hotel and I will be...

We had booked this for our trip a few months ago. Loved this hotel as its very central to everything and walking distance. We had complimentary Wine and locally made popcorn. The view on the 18th floor was spectacular. We were offered complimentary drink and entree ( from food truck outside of hotel) as well. I believe the hotel is...

I have never experienced a hotel that did not provide enough light fixtures to see what I was doing before this nightmare of a place. A big room with 2 queen beds and no installed fixtures in the ceiling or walls. when i complained they brought up an extra table lamp, so the room had 3 table lamps----no floor lamps...

Hello Caroline P, Thank you for your feedback. I'm sorry about your less-than-pleasant experience. The fact that the lighting was too dim and lacked additional lamps must have been frustrating for you. As you noticed, we are under a rejuvenation which includes improvements to the lighting in our guestrooms. I certainly hope to regain your trust. Please email me details...

I stayed at the Westin for two days during my trip to Portland. I was very happy with the room and the overall service. I enjoy staying at the Westin in general, and this hotel was no exception. The room and the bathroom were clean, comfortable and featured all the necessary amenities. I especially enjoyed the large and clean shower....

We stayed in Portland for one night and the Westin was fantastic! Since their restaurant is under construction, the offer a free drink and entree in the lobby in the evening. We mentioned at check in that we just got married and we're on our honeymoon and Michelle was kind enough to organize a surprise in the room for us!...

We stayed 2 nights while travelling west coast. Nice hotel, but we were not informed that its restaurant and bar were out of action due to refurbishment. There was a temporary restaurant set up for breakfast which sufficed, and we were offered one free 'appetizer' item and drink from a mobile kitchen as a gesture of compensation.

We arrived on Friday eve and stayed until Sunday morning. The location of the hotel is great, located in the heart of downtown and a short walk to the waterfront. There is construction ongoing in the hotel but this didn't bother us as we weren't planning on hanging about the hotel. What was disappointing was the cleanliness of our suite......

On short notice my wife and I planned a brief staycation, and Westin Portland was the bombay doors for that. Right downtown, great staff, gorgeous suite, great view and a very comfy bed. We wandered comfortably through the small blocks on a Saturday night, ate bountifully and affordably, and eventually slept like logs. Please note: there was construction nearby, and...

While the hotel is under construction so the restaurant isn't open, they still have a great experience. The location is great and the staff excellent. They have drinks and a food truck available from 5-7 to make up for the construction and they are close to lots of restaurants. Workout room is good but too small.
