This was a very clean and nice hotel. There is a great restaurant right next door that you can walk to. It had free cookies and mints in the lobby. Free breakfast was included, with several good options. The bed was super comfy bed and the room was quiet. Couldn't ask for anything more.!
We stayed one night here and were satisfied with the room. It was clean and comfortable. The only fault we found was the lighting in the bathroom....the fixture is up high and the bulbs were dim. Was terrible for putting on makeup, but everything was clean.
This was a very nice hotel and it had great customer service. The lobby was a bit small but that's okay since the hotel is small. Maybe we'll go there again sometime. And the hotel was very creative in making the lobby also the breakfast room.
We stayed at Econo Lodge Prineville, during a Oregon round trip. It is a typical budget hotel, staff was very friendly. After arrivalin our room, we notoced, that towels where missing. We got immediatly after our request not only the missing towels but also an extra set. There is a small breakfast included, it was not very much but enough to get a start into the day.
We made reservations here because the place we usually stay in Prineville was booked for the night we needed, an uncommon happening. This place is in a good location, within walking distance of anywhere in the Prineville business district. Maybe that's part of the problem, it doesn't have lots of parking or much room to hide things like their dumpster. When we arrived it took some time for the desk person to return to the office from doing some chore, but she was friendly and efficient. Our room was on the second floor. To get to it we had to step around a homeless person who was parked with his pack in the stairwell. The room was clean enough but cold. We figured out how to turn on the heat; there are separate heating and AC controls. We later discovered that we couldn't turn the heat down or off. We tried the AC but found that it would only run on high and put out only air temperature air and it was quite loud. We slept with the heat on high, the AC blowing air and the window wide open. For all that, the bed was comfortable enough. As with most motels these days, the light bulbs are all of the low wattage kind. We tried the TV but were unable to master the skills to find a regular broadcast channel. That was probably our fault though since we aren't regular TV watchers and we didn't find the Direct TV card until the next morning. We will probably not stay there again.…
