This place is a remodeled dive hotel. As a Wyndham member I was greatly disappointed it did not represent normal company standards. Breakfast was available and rooms were clean. This place could really stand an overhaul to live up to the Baymont or Wyndham name.
When you think Wyndham, you automatically think of a certain level of quality. This is an older hotel that is tired. The carpeting in the hallways is old and reeks of urine and smells stale. The bathroom may have been remodeled but the exhaust fan was covered over. There were gaps around the door that we could see through. The sheets were clean but old enough that they wouldn't stay put and we woke up to laying on the mattress, no pad or mat. My companion is 6' and the showerhead was as tall as his throat. We slept past nine, therefore no breakfast. If this were my first experience with the Wyndham name, it would make me leery of booking any other Wyndham property. We spend over $100 for a one night stay on a Thursday.
This was one of the worst hotels we have ever stayed at. Dirty carpets. Unpainted repaired walls. No complimentary shampoo, soap, kleenex, drinking glasses. Carpeting in stairway is the filthiest I've ever seen. The room reeked of smoke and my husband is allergic. Should have just walked out!
As a Wyndham Diamond Rewards Member (therefore a very, very frequent guest at Wyndham branded hotels), I must say that this is the worst experience I have every had at one of Wyndham's branded properties. When I saw my room I was absolutely stunned. I have since discovered that I was given a room on the top floor that is normally reserved for "extended stay guests." As I submit this review, I am still deciding whether or not to spend the night here. While the rooms on the lower floor may be "brand compliant," my room certainly is not. Please consider my comments as you considered whether or not to book at this hotel.
Our room was neat and clean. The mattress was a little worn to say it nicely. Overall, the stay was satisfactory. The staff was very pleasant and very helpful. Access to the property was easy from the freeway.
