The Inn is delightful. The receptionist/host was friendly and made me feel welcomed. The beach is a short block away. Restaurants, activities, and my church were within a short walk. The decor fits the 111 year old building and reminded me of a recent stay in an Irish bed and breakfast.

The room was okay, the staff was nice, the location was terrible. From the photo we were expecting a picturesque place. Instead, it was on a busy street, surrounded by buildings and the view was a public parking structure across the street. Any view was obstructed, and traffic in and out of the parking structure was constant. Not the worst...

Stayed in the Matthew room and loved it. Comfort bed, comfort stay. The B&B was exactly one block from the beach and the boardwalk. And then also one block from the downtown area of Seaside. I would recommend this B&B to anyone and everyone

We were only able to spend one night at the Gilbert Inn, but enjoyed our stay immensely. The beds were comfortable, breakfast in the morning was tasty (and appreciated), and the décor was historic and lovely without feeling like you were staying in someone's grandmother's house. We were able to come and go as we please and had ample space...

I stayed here with a friend for two nights and it was amazing! Warm and super friendly welcome at a nice victorian styled home (yes it felt like you are coming home)! Beautiful cute rooms. Super clean and fresh feel (mean the bathroom and shower). Yummy breakfast and OMG very comfy beds. Didnt want to wake up in the morning!...

Nice location that's away from the busy street yet very close to the boardwalk and ocean. Definitely walkable to various locations. Nice parking - was always able to find a spot. Only complaint is that there was a beeping noise that was repetitive and didn't sound like it was coming from outside. Enjoyed the breakfast from 8-10 that they had....

We enjoyed our night at the Gilbert Inn, very quaint and the staff were friendly. The bed was extremely comfortable and the room was nicely appointed. A nice change from staying in a typical sterile looking motel. We'd stay again if we return to Cannon Beach.

New owners (to us). Enjoyed the location, convenient parking and other amenities. Great breakfast and clean room. Good restaurants (Finn's) and the Promenade an easy walk away. My only complaint is the very low toilet is difficult on my back ("Andrew" room).

Met our expectations, close to downtown and highway 101 which accommodated our day trips up and down Oregon Coast. You could go right out to walk the beach or watch sunset each evening. Town is fun and full activities.

Our third stay at the Gilbert Inn. We love it! It is cozy, quiet, and clean. One block from the prom and anything else you could want in Seaside is within walking distance. We definitely recommend the Gilbert Inn and will be back again!
