The room itself and parking were fine. check in was polite if slow.Good mattress and bedding. The bathroom was subpar with hot water lacking and damaged shower bench/sink (shower bench cushionrip w padding exposed Such as to be unsanitary). The showerhead and handheld were minimally functional, with the handheld bracket on the wall broken. The refrigerator was not working. Upon checkout the person at reception was uninterested in my report about problems in the room (mentioning only the more significant problems being the nonworking shower, spraying water all over the bathroom and the nonworking refrigerator).
I did not need or request a room with disability accommodations, but was assigned one. For a person who had disabilities, this room would have been markedly inadequate in terms of the shower facilities.

I stayed twice in late June and early July during the extreme heat wave (115 degrees F). The A/C worked great, I have to say.
So, I've stayed at several Wyndham/Super 8's in the last year. This is not one of the best but it's a good value since prices in Summer near the Columbia Gorge can be excessive.
The staff were extremely friendly and helpful; much better than you might expect. There is a Fred Meyer supermarket within a couple hundred yards for any supplies you might need. Rooms were as expected, a bit worse for wear. Hallway carpet is definitely in need of replacement.
In the hotel's defense, some of the clientele seemed a little odd. That is, people who were hanging out in the parking lot or wandering the hallways, any time of day or night. Keep in mind that I was here twice for a couple nights each time, about a week apart. Some of the same guests were still there the entire time, as if they were waiting for something. So, the place gets a lot of usage that other hotels do not.
Nothing in the breakfast was appealing so I did not partake at all.
The pool was completely closed for repair during both trips; I'm sure it would have been packed during that heat wave.
Altogether, if you need a quick stop, you'll be fine.

This motel, for the price, was indeed super. I was very road-weary when I checked in and discovered that I'd mistakenly reserved the room for a month later. And this had been a non-refundable reservation! Gulp. The woman at the counter found a room for me and managed to change the date on the reservation so I wouldn't be double charged.
The room was large, and nicely appointed. Real compact fridge with separate freezer compartment above. Microwave. Lots of room to work at a desk or lounge in a chair.
Compared to the other motels in the same (or far more expensive) price range that I had stayed at on this trip, the Super 8 was a palace.

My construction company reserved 3 rooms for a week stay and I was charged twice for each room. A total of 6 times. I reached out to the front desk, manager and owner and no answer or refund. I will be disputing this with my Credit card company. (Three charges showed pending and charged sept 17) all for the same week.

Located just off the main highway, this hotel was quiet, clean and comfortable and at an affordable price. It’s a large hotel and given the number of rooms, there was little noise. The room included breakfast, which although basic, was OK. The only downside was the vinyl plank flooring in the room which made the floor very cold.

Great Hotel!! Stayed here a couple of times, always had a good experience. Rooms are clean and comfortable. The hotel is clean and centrally located. The housekeeping staff is friendly and the lady at check-in (blonde hair), sorry can’t remember her name, is always very nice and friendly. Will definitely stay there again, next time I’m in The Dalles.

Got 2 rooms on was an accessible room for my parents. The room was filthy. When I went to ask about another room they said they only had regular rooms so there was nothing they could do. I asked if the floor could be vacuumed. They said yes and handed me a vacuum. On check in we were told there was a breakfast in the lobby. (I understand during covid different properties do different things 1. Grab and go 2. Staff makes you a plate and you sit at social distance. 3. No breakfast.) They always tell you what it is at check in. As we were told there would be a breakfast thats what we expected. Turns out there was nothing.

This motel is very run down, from the outside to the inside. We stayed on the 1st floor so I did not see the 2nd or 3rd. The flowers (the only living vegetation on the entire property) inside the two small pots outside the door were almost dead, the first floor hallway carpet was filthy, the rooms seemed fairly clean, it was a depressing place to stay....find another place, even if you pay more you will feel better.

This Super 8 seemed a little less than what we've experienced at other locations. The room and bathroom were clean and OK. The bed was a little hard - not the best mattress we've seen among Super 8.
The Wyndham app did not get our reservation in as expected, but the desk clerk took care of us and that worked out ok.
Later when trying to get ice, the machine was not working. The clerk did not mention that there was another machine. I found that out the next morning.
I would say this stay is OK, but next time, I might go further down the road.

Where to start, I rented a room at this hotel for a wedding during what is probably the hottest weekend in the history of oregon. We were excited that the hotel had a pool and a continental breakfast. The pool was closed and the continental breakfast was…sad. Oh well atleast the air conditioning worked. If you don’t care about any of these amenities save your money on a less expensive hotel.
