I'm sorry to say that we will not ever stay there again and cannot recommend it to anyone. It was old and smelly. Looks like it did in 1980. The breakfast was cold and terrible. There was nothing good about it! Section D was the absolute worst! Our family stayed there and they put us in Section A, which wasn't...

Older "Inn" with that worn, tired look. NO INTERNET in our room (Building C). so had to go to the lobby to get wifi signal - very inconvenient trying to do business in the lobby. Not a clean hotel - old worn carpeting, walls. had breakfast in the restaurant - cob webs on the window sills, crabby waitress. we'll avoid...

We've stayed here once before and it was outdated. This stay we were in a newer room and it was nice. The bed has seen better days. But overall no complaints. However being on the riverside why not spruce up the place? I don't think it's been touched since the 80's. Metal keys, tubed tv's.

Beautiful views, clean rooms and and reasonable pricing makes for a winning experience. Adding a great onsite restaurant Columbia Portage with a lounge and a heated indoor pool makes this a destination location. The Dallas is a nice jumping off point for a wide variety of recreational and tourist activities.

Price was reasonable. We had to climb 3 sets of stairs at midnight. The hotel is old and outdated. Shilo Inns used to be so nice. It served our purpose but would not stay there again until corporate does something with their hotels. I have had the same experience in other cities with Shilos

Friendly staff at check-in. The rooms had actual keys which was new to me, but I didn't have a problem with them. The landscaping was well taken care of, which makes for a nice walk to your room since the buildings are separated. Walking up the stairs you could tell the building was older. Still the room was decent and...

So where do I begin??? This place is a good example of corporate greed. I don't know how old it is but it looks like nothing has been updated in 25+ years. First there is a distinct smell when you walk into the lobby. The rooms too. We had two rooms. My door looked like it had been kicked in...

We were unfortunate enough to have been diverted to Highway 14 after a train derailment caused the closure of I 84. 4 1/2 hours to travel 42 miles. We were finally able to exit at the Dalles. Our friend had reserved a room for us when she heard of the back up-11:30 pm. Talk about a RIPOFF-charged us $179 plus...

Stayed here with kids for one night. Pros: great location- near freeway and view of dam and river. Quiet. Cons: VERY dated and old. Linens torn. They still use real metal keys (haven't seen that in 10 years or more). For the price I would stay somewhere else. Didn't have the breakfast as is a pre-fixed menu of (3) choices...

Along the freeway was this little hotel. I stopped along the way to Portland/Vancouver. The room was clean, desk people were friendly, coffee was good, bed was comfortable, and the WiFi worked like a champ. It gets a little warm in the halls which has the AC struggling to keep the room cool and the AC is really loud which...
