Even tho room was on freeway side, I never heard traffic.
Easy off / on from I84
A nice breakfast selection
Chris, the breakfast person very friendly and kept the breakfast area very clean. Often offering to clear dishes for those finishing.
Room was large, and generally clean, but very dated And our full kitchen room had a odd room layout, but was functional. That was very hard, but did have a little give, was not good enough for good sleep.
Breakfast in the morning was functional with some warm options .
Check in was friendly, and paid attention to our special request, check out there was no one at the desk just to drop off the keys .
One down side of our room will be near the side door next to the smoking area, looking for us that did not impact our stay only impacted us upon packing out in the morning
Overall good for a night, if you’re traveling through
On the return trip we were on the freeway side in a single king room. While the price for the room was good, it was very small-more suitable for a single queen bed. While this room was cleaner than the first it was very noisy both from inside the hotel and from the outside. It is directly next to the on ramp for the freeway. The breakfast was not nearly as well prepared as on our first visit.
The hotel was fine but not at the level of most of the Comfort Inns we have stayed at.
The hotel has a nice grassy play area out back.
The air conditioner didn't work at all in the first room we were assigned. We were moved to a second room where it sort-of worked, but rattled loudly for a minute, every nine minutes. We were told that it couldn't be fixed since it was a weekend.
There was a smell of old cooking in the corridors. This meant we had to keep the air conditioner running even though it was noisy and didn't work very well, just to keep the smell pushed out.
The breakfast room was small and crowded; people were sitting in the lobby having breakfast, and taking food to their rooms.
In the run-up to arrival, web services were unusably poor. The Choice Hotels website doesn't work. Every time I tried to log in, I had to reset my password. I couldn't log in on my smartphone at all. Customer service was no use at all; I never got a reply to an email request about the password reset problem, not even after 72 hour wait time it warned me of; phone call wait times exceeded 2 hours according to Google Phone, and I gave up trying to use that channel.
The room wasn't very well lit.
The hot breakfast had a good variety of different things & we enjoyed staying there. No complaints at all. Would stay again!
