This is a mixed review as I’m on the fence about our stay. First off VERY clean. Room was well worth the stay HOWEVER we experienced extremely loud neighbors several of them in the halls absolutely RUDE to be entering a hotel at 10pm in frathouse mode and doing it in the hallway. Due to covid there are NO blankets we were advised we could ask for one but I just kept thinking was Oprah right? I mean I know comforters aren’t washed but the blankets? We bought one at the local Fred Meyer. I did bring my swimsuit but the filled pool was closed.
Upon check in both of our IDs were documented as well as both our phone numbers. I’ve never experienced that either. I’m not a fan of being tracked and this was new for us during the pandemic as we’ve stayed in other hotel’s and not experienced this.
Overall it’s clean. Worth it for a night but walls are very thin and if you don’t mind giving all your information it’s a great deal. We would stay again if we didn’t have to experience all of the above. The lady who checked us in was very nice and my husband said she asked if we heard the loud people. Most staff wouldn’t acknowledge that.

We stayed here because we had pets, and they were free here. That's a plus. The room was clean and everything seemed new. That's a plus. But we knew it was a Motel 6, so....
If you come here, don't stay downstairs, don't stay by the stairs or by the exterior doors. It was like a logger's convention on the ceiling. There were always people in the parking lot, people up all hours and hanging out in the hall. Those are negatives. It was really hard to sleep.
If we were to come to The Dalles again, I'd probably pay a few dollars for the pets and avoid the noise.

Conveniently located right off the main freeway but not noisy, and it is close to the main shopping mall. Room is clean and comfortable. Plenty of parking spaces. Services is good. A good choice for a budget accommodation.

I’ve stayed at a few different motels in The Dalles Oregon area and none was as great priced and welcoming as Motel 6. They room was cleaned and they made sure my husband who is disabled had a mobility room. I would recommend this Motel. It’s clean and very friendly and the prices aren’t outrageous.

Not the best, but you get what you pay for. It looks nothing like the pictures online. It's near the busy freeway, but that noise was minimal while in your room. We almost left within the first 5 minutes of being there because a couple down the hall got into a screaming match laced with obscenities, F-bombs, and the N-word. People were "hanging out" in their cars in the parking lot and we were afraid to leave our car there. Someone was camped out in their camper in the back of the parking lot, also. It looks like a motel that some of these people are living in, not just travelers. No in room coffee but there was coffee in the lobby. It did have a microwave (we didn't use) and a refrigerator. I did wake up both mornings itching and/or a mysterious bug bite. Will not be staying here again.

Was working nights while staying there. Front desk was well aware I was working nights, however maids insisted on banging on door at 1130 everyday while I was trying to sleep. Room never got cleaned and they called me later with some BS about stained towels they would have to charge me for. For some reason they have all but one entry door unlocked. Evan if you are a guest you can only use one entry door like jail or something.

Horribly disgusting motel. I'd never stay there again. Literally found blood splattered on the bed and lamp. Also hair in the other bed. Next time I'm driving through The Dallas and the Motel 6 is the only place available I'd rather sleep in my car. Never again would I stay there, and I wouldn't suggest you do either.

Staff was amazing...but unfortunately that was the only good part about the motel. The room had stains on the pillowcases, which also smelled unpleasant. Mold in the shower. Bed side had tons of stains. They had no toiletries to give out because of covid they claimed, but yet the staff doesn't have to wear masks? The walls literally looked like they haven't been been cleaned in MONTHS. Dirt, food, and something in the bathroom that literally looked like blood. Really dissatisfied...if you want a comfortable hotel go to the Cousins Inn up the road!!

Read the reviews and this Motel 6 is very nice. Lady at the front desk was very nice. Room looks it was recently remodeled. AC working great. The shower passed the drain test with no standing water. Highly recommend this Motel 6. It is close to some restaurants

No not on the property it's self. There is a KFC down the road and Spooky's Pizza alittle further down,
If you chose to go the other direction, there a Cousin's and Dennys!
The pool is outdoors and has a limited season that it is open. No jacuzzi or hot tub.
