On a spur of the moment trip over the holiday break we chose The Edgefield. Our room was a King with bathroom, it was a HUGE room. As if on queue, it snowed while we were there. The Dickens carolers were out, the gas lamps were lit and decorated with wreaths. it was like a scene from a movie. The...

This would not be somewhere I would normally stay but I wanted to try it out for a different experience. I am not really big on not having a bathroom in your room or not having a temperature controlled room. Maybe bring your own fan during the summer time...rooms get out. What is really cool though is all the artwork,...

I have a friend that comes up once a year from Las Vegas for a visit. A few years ago we stayed here for one night before I took her back to the airport. Now it is a must every time she visits! There is so much to do with pool, movies, dinner, shopping and the outdoor pool is the...

We stopped for lunch. Had a very tasty Veggie Curry and local Chardonnay. The staff were excellent. They brought us maps of the place and a booklet describing the history. They knew it was our first visit. They have an interesting gift shop. We enjoyed wine tasting afterwards in their wine tasting/ brewery area. We tasted the white wine flight...

We have spent a lot of time at McMenamins Edgefield, including meals at the Black Rabbit or the Power Station Pub, overnights in the hotel, and we even got married at Blackberry Hall! McMenamins Edgefield is always a fun, relaxed, quirky and unique experience, and it always keeps us coming back again and again. The remodeled theater is a treat,...

A very quirky and historic building. Several places to eat and quite a few bars, pool room, outdoor hot tub. Not all rooms have their own bathroom, so check on booking. Our room shared a bathroom, but it was very clean and well appointed.

The food in the Black Rabbit restaurant was very good, and restaurant staff was helpful and attentive. Very professional experience The service for food at the movie at 3:15 was bad. We asked for the happy hour menu to order off of it. The server placed the order at 2:58 so she could ring us up before happy hour at...

We had another fantastic experience at McMenamins Edgefield! We were visiting when the snow had stopped and the sun visited for a few days in mid-January. The hotel service was exceptionally good. Every person we interacted with who was an employee smiled and made sure our experience (at the front desk, in the restaurants, in the gift shop) was fantastic....

Ruby's spa is amazing. The soaking pool and massage we had were amazing. So relaxing and a great atmosphere. I highly recommend it whether you stay there or just visit for a few hours. The Black Rabbit restaurant has decent food but without fail you will wait and wait and wait and wait for your food. I don't think it...
