My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this comfortable B&B. The owner, Sharon, was accommodating and friendly. Her breakfast was outstanding. We highly recommend this spot. It has a spectacular view of the river and ocean with wonderful scenery all around. Great restaurants are nearby too.

Amazing view from the upstairs suite - view of the mouth of the Alsea River emptying into the Pacific Ocean. Great deck. Easy beach access for beach walks and running. Seal watching likely. Breakfast was always delicious, something straight out of culinary magazine that I would eat again any day. Optional massage available (experienced massage therapist) in the gazebo looking...

We just happened to pull in while looking for a place to spend the evening. The keeper was out doing gardening. Even with the late (no) notice, Sharon was very accommodating to us. The room was very comfortable with a great view of the ocean. We enjoyed watching the sun set from the enclosed gazebo, and the easy access to...

Just stayed here one night on business. We stayed in the room upstairs with an outside entrance. Nice room, love seat looking out at the ocean. This place is located at the mouth of the Alsea River and the Ocean so you have both ocean and river views looking back at the town of Alsea. At night, lights are pretty....

Hosts truly love what they do. Appreciate the no-shoes policy and brand new carpets throughout. My vegan diet was well catered for, had a delicious tofu scramble and vegan muffin. Love that tea is served from a tea pot complete with cozy. Hubby's blitzes with berry compote was delish. Bed was great, view from slanted roof skylights was excellent.

It's impossible to find better descriptors than those that have already been written. Spotlessly clean room, views to die for, a heated gazebo to watch the sunset, and all the amenities one could ask for! If you are in the area, you must treat yourself to staying here.

Our family of 4 had 3 rooms for 3 nights at the Cliff House, traveling far for a HS reunion. I chose the place as Sharon, the Innkeeper, told me she kept it dust-free and OK for those w/ allergies. The setting was perfect with direct views of Alsea Bay and we enjoyed great weather and up-close views of the...

The view is spectacular and Sharon is a terrific host. Her daily treats and special breakfasts cannot be beat anyplace. Don't be late for breakfast! Her menu is varied and truly homemade from freshly squeezed orange juice to scones AND muffins each morning along with a hot entree.
