Ed and Donna were excellent hosts for our brief weekend stay in the Pennsylvania country side. Few buildings have more character and history than Landhaven and if you are tired of cookie cutter hotels, Landhaven is certainly unique. The rooms were nice and clean with excellent bathrooms. The owners Ed and Donna joined us for the lavish breakfast and helped...

Surprised to find and bed and breakfast that has a room for someone who is disabled. They have one room with a large roll-in shower and a shower chair built into it. You can opt for taking a regular shower at the opposite end. Owners Donna and Ed Land are very welcoming. They have entertainment on many weekends. Breakfast was...

We appreciate your kind (and insightful!!) review but especially are grateful that you decided to stay with us and share your lively spirit with us and our guests. We hope to see you back in the near future. Best regards, Donna & Ed

The owners are very nice people. We felt welcome. The breakfast was nice. The room we stayed was the Schankweiler. It faces the main street. The bed was uncomfortable and we woke up feeling unrested. In the morning, we were awoken by traffic noise and the sun in the room. The entire room was dirty, particularly the towels. There is...

We are so sorry the room did not give you the peaceful, restful experience you deserve. I wish you had mentioned things to us that we could have changed - the towels, certainly - we usually garner high marks for cleanliness and would have fixed that for you while you were out to your wedding. We appreciate that you wrote...

When you go somewhere and everyone is positive and the vibe is so happy, you have found a gem! That is how we felt this weekend when we visited Landhaven for a concert and an over night stay. Donna and Ed are certainly two very interesting people. Their b and b is just a place where interesting people gathered to...

My husband and I wanted to get away briefly and inexpensively for our 10th wedding anniversary. Through a Lehigh Valley travel site I found a coupon for 20% off a mid-week stay at Landhaven, and I called and booked the room with Donna. She told me that though she and her husband would be away that night, a woman named...

You are precisely the reason we have loved being in the B&B business going on 15 years now - wonderful, patient, adventurous, calm, and not-given-to-panic guests! Thank you so much for understanding our lapse and for keeping the secret entry a secret!! We are thrilled that you enjoyed the quiet and rejuvenation that happens here and were able to salvage...

We were here for a function at Near Creek but wanted one night here since some of us grew up in the neighborhood when this was a store. They've done great job turning the store into a B&B. The owners are everything you'd want in hosts, they're available if you want to chat, listen well, and magically disappear if you...

The Landhaven B & B is a wonderful place. We have stayed here at least once a year for at least 10 years. They have five rooms each with it's own personality. Donna and Ed are the best hosts ever. Donna's breakfast is something we look forward to each time we stay here. We never know what it will be,...

We were attending a family baby shower on Sunday morning and decided to stay Friday and Saturday night at Landhaven to enjoy a weekend getaway and the live music (on Saturday evening). We loved the location (quiet and country) and our room (the Pilgert). The musicians, David Jacob-Strain and Bob Beach, exceeded all expectations - they were excellent, and the...

After staying at Landhaven 3 times in the past 3 years I can say with confidence that this is a truly wonderful bed and breakfast destination in Pennsylvania! The food was excellent and we are always treated warmly and wonderfully. Rooms are so very comfortable and make for a restful and easy night's sleep. I will always go to Landhaven...

The B&B offers authentic old country accommodation and the in-keepers took great care of us. We traveled with friends and two small children. Occupied three rooms for two nights. All were comfortable with excellent modern bathrooms. Tasty breakfast.
