We were so blessed. We scheduled the trip hoping to catch the fall folage. Had three amazing days at our campsite and traveling around the Bedford, Pa. Area. The campground is spacious and has sites for every type and size of unit. Staff was very friendly and the returning campers we met really enjoy the campground. The campground has plenty...

Nice site with plenty of room. We know which ones to pick now. Clean restrooms and a nice track to walk the dogs around. Apple festival is nice to attend. Place gets crowded during fall festivals. Good internet service too.

We stayed at this campground for two nights as we were traveling east. First, we love the town of Bedford so we wanted to stay somewhere in this area. Friendship Village is the closest campground to town(a five minute drive). Second, we really enjoyed our stay. They have a wide array of options in their sites and the sites all...

Traded in our old camper at the next door East Coast RV dealership and wanted to try new one out. Never been here before. Everything we've seen so far had been pretty good. Campground was pretty full. Campground roads need repaving, although they have kept gravel filling in asphalt. We needed 50 amp power and it has stable despite 95...

This campground was one of the cleanest I've seen. Bath houses were nice and campsites were well kept. The swimming pools were also very clean and well maintained. The whole family had a great time. Lots of activities and things for kids to do. Also lots of options for rentals.... campsites and multiple levels of cabins. Very nice atmosphere and...

Concerned with other reviews and unlevel sites but decided to try anyway - found campground very appealing - lots to do including 2 pools and lakes. There is a mixture of homes and trailers but the campground is very large. Friendly staff. We were escorted to our site which is good because of the park size. Well maintained roads. Our...

The first of our camps on a 2 week road trip and a busy Labour day weekend. However the staff were great, the camp itself was lovely and the site perfect for our needs. The camp shop was a distraction for my husband who suddenly discovered lots of gadgets he simply had to have. All in all a great site,...

The campground was clean, but that is about all I can say for it. I called three days before we got there to see if we could rent kayaks or canoes during our stay, and to make sure that our dogs would be allowed in the boats and water and I was assured that it wasn't a problem. We were...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Located in historic and beautiful Bedford County, Pennsylvania, where we have more covered bridges than stoplights! Life here seems to move at a slower pace, and we like it that way. We're family-oriented, providing activities and games for everyone, so be sure to bring the kids and grandkids along! Our park is "big rig friendly," offering shaded and non-shaded sites, with a variety of pull thru and site hook-ups available. We even have campsites along our lower lake and beside the trout stream. Bedford County offers plenty to do and see, but many guests come here just to relax. You can challenge your companions to a round of miniature golf or a game of laser tag, swim in our 2 pools, play shuffleboard or horseshoes, walk or bike the 1/2 mile track around our 5 acre lake, or paddle a boat on our lower lake. Fishermen will love to test their skills with the bass stocked in our lakes. Everyone is welcome to our Saturday Night "Gospel Sings" held in the old barn. Afterwards, enjoy fresh, popped popcorn made over an open campfire in a large black kettle. We're freeway-close, just two miles off the Pennsylvania Turnpike at Exit 146, but a world away from what you know. Whether you're here just for the night, or plan an extended stay, come see us at Friendship Village Campground and RV Park. ... more   less
