Very disappointed, they paid full price. #1 we were expecting this day and a beautiful mansion B&B like other b&bs with the Aviance they stuck us out back in a less than nice cheap motel room. No thermostat to control or room extremely cold this...More
My boyfriend and I absolutely love this place to stay. It is a beautiful Inn. They offer a hot breakfast in the morning. They have a pool and a hot tub. The rooms are absolutely gorgeous. The owners are very helpful and knowledgeable of the...More
We walked through the most beautiful gardens when we arrived. Check-in was efficient and I was given a lot of information and a dinner voucher. Our room was on the third floor but we did not mind the steps. It was clean, cool, comfortable and...More
A well appointed Victorian house converted to a B&B. Our room was small, but adequate. Clean. Three levels, no elevator. We did not have air conditioning. WiFi is available in the common rooms. Continental breakfast is included; a substantial full breakfast is also available. Convenient...More

No you would be a bit too far to walk to the surrounding shops. The Manor sits up on a steep drive-way, and you are a few miles from the Kettle Shops. Now if you want to HIKE down, you could go to maybe the General Store, where there are lots of Knick Knack type items, or Ruthie's where you could purchase T-Shirts, and such and a Hardware Store, Buggy Rides, Post Office, a little Bakery, & a A Quilt Shop, but I would advise driving. The pool is only open in the warm weather, (it is outside surrounded by the flowers) No indoor pool..
I would not stay in the Carriage House, the rooms are very small. Only one small chair in the room, no frig, no ceiling fan....bed was not comfy at all. I am unsure of the Mansion. We will never stay there again.

"Can't go wrong with any of the rooms. Even the rooms in the carriage house are very nice."
