While on a road trip, we thought we'd perhaps spend the night in Carlisle as on the route home to NYC and a good half way stop so we called earlier in the day to just check out if they were open and had room. We had to call 3 numbers before someone picked up. When we arrived (still without...

Dear NPWNewYork, We are very sorry that you had a less than wonderful experience at our bed and breakfast. It does take us a minute to get to the front door since the Inn is large and this being our home, also, UPS had tried to deliver a package about an hour earlier, while we were at an appt., and...

We had a fantastic stay at the Carlisle House. The host were friendly and inviting. Our rooms were supplied with everything we needed. The breakfast was amazing. Especially the quiche. Quite inviting.

Our one-night stay at the Carlisle House B&B met or exceeded every expectation. For us, we wanted a nice location to explore historic Carlisle on-foot, catch a nice dinner, and enjoy staying in a historic property. The owners Tim and Carolyn were very welcoming and the quiche was probably the best I've ever had. We stayed in the Molly's Garden...

Thank you so much for your kind words. We are glad you enjoyed the quiche! I always tell our guests that every quiche that Tim makes is better than the last. Molly's Garden Room is a popular room; we just had a writer stay there and also commented on how quiet it was. We look forward to your next visit...

I was pleasantly (and instantaneously) surprised by the graceful Southern hospitality I encountered during an impromptu business overnight stay in Carlisle, PA. As a last minute necessity (after my reservations fell through at a different local B&B), Tim and Carolyn Carlisle welcomed me into their Carlisle Home - as if we knew one another for a lifetime. I will definitely...

We spent a night at the Carlisle House B&B while visiting our daughter at Dickinson College. The inn is conveniently located in the central part of town. The hosts were friendly and made helpful dinner recommendations. The accommodations were comfortable and the breakfast delicious. We were even offered a gluten-free breakfast option! We can heartily recommend the Carlisle House for...

My husband and I were drawn to Carlisle for the Spring car auction and were lucky enough to get a room at the Carlisle House. We stayed for three nights and enjoyed every minute! The warm welcome we received upon arrival was our cue that we had picked the right place. Tim and Carolyn have provided all the amenities that...

The Carlisle House was a great stop for us on a college tour. It's on one of the main streets in Carlisle, two buildings that were combined over time by the prior owner. It's very conveniently located close to Dickenson, many shops and restaurants. Current owners Tim and Carolyn were relaxed, gracious, friendly and very helpful. Our room was very...

My boyfriend and I stopped at the Carlisle House on our way to Harrisburg from Pittsburgh for an event. It was the perfect location, close to Harrisburg but small, quaint and relaxing. Our room came with a hot tub and a very comfortable bed. We ended up going to dinner at the Belgian restaurant three blocks away and enjoyed the...

My sister and I spent a wonderful couple of days exploring the Carlisle area, and this B&B was in the perfect location. Right in the historic district, with many attractions: artsy shops, great restaurants, massage, tea house, theater, visitors center... and the Carlisle House B&B had all the comforts: lovely comfortable rooms, beautiful details, scrumptious breakfasts - couldn't have asked...
