As others have noted, this hotel is in a prime location. If you are in the area visiting Fallingwater, Fort Neccessity, Kentuck Knob, etc, this is the best location to stay. Next time, I think we will camp. Our room was dated and generally well worn. The attached deck looked like it was due for refinishing two years ago. The...

Girls weekend was comfortable. Unique rooms and complex probably built in the 1960s. Units are spread throughout the complex and overlook a pond. Each unit has a deck. Beds are OK and pillows hard. But overall very clean and convenient. No coffee makers or hair dryers in room. The owners seem to be obsessed with guests having dogs because I...

Charming lakeside lodges with huge beds, nice view, clean bathroom and towels, fridge, TV etc. Very calm and tranquil area. Nice and helpful concierge, complimentary continental breakfast in the morning. Excellent price for what it offers. Would definitely come back here to stay.

we checked in on Saturday April 9th, people are friendly and facility may be of some age but the cabin are well presented and it was a very enjoyable stay, the cabin overlooked the lake in front of the facility, they had had snow the nights before so we were not able to enjoy the porch/balcony facing the water but...

I am visiting Kentuck Knob tomorrow early and needed somewhere nearby to stay overnight for an early start in the morning. I looked at the reviews on TripAdvisor and decided that this would be a good place for the night and it is very budget conscious! Even cheaper arriving at the front desk than advertised on another booking service! Everything...

This hotel is convenient to Falling Water and is very clean and well kept. There are outside decks on each room, so if weather permits, you can sit outside and enjoy the view of a nice pond with lots of birds.

This is not a fancy hotel, but it's clean, and economical and in a great location for a great number of attractions. There's a pretty lake in front that the rooms overlook from their back decks. There's a minimal, but very nice, continental breakfast. No frills, but no problems.

The rooms look really old but somehow still clean and not dated, so it feels like a timetravel. Rooms, a bit like cabins, have view of a lake (where you're not allowed to swim) and beyond that a very noisy road. Breakfast is okay.

Like many others, we chose a night The Lodge at Chalk Hill because it was convenient to Fallingwater and Kentuck Knob, and a reasonable rate. For those purposes, it worked extremely well: our room was clean, the deck was lovely, and there was hot coffee (and bagels) ready for our very early departure. In addition, I left an old bit...

We chose this hotel for the location relatively close to the Ohiopyle state park and Fallingwater. However, the room was not attractive and smelled very odd. We opened the doors to air the room out, but the screens were missing on the sliding doors so we could not keep them open. The refrigerator did not work and their was no...
