Depending on family size we had folks in various parts of the hotel including a pet friendly room so we experienced numerous opportunities to see the resort from different perspectives. we had a blast and each room filled the need and beyond. The weekend was filled with

The skiing/boarding is great. The outdoor scenery is beautiful! However, everything associated with the actual lodge and resort is not good. EXTREMELY overpriced rooms, food, and drinks. 90% of the staff I dealt with were just not happy people. Very old place with horrible and

Perfect family resort but also a great couples escape. Slopes are almost always snow-covered and the atmosphere is very inviting. Definitely has the cozy mountain lodge feel but it’s actually a large resort with plenty to do. We look forward to coming back each winter.

Another business stay at this resort. It is just old...we were in an updated room so it was fine. Housekeeping was not good at all. Returned to our room Saturday and other than the bed being made nothing else was touched. Sink was definitely not cleaned and table not wiped down.

Does it really cost extra to use the hot tub?
God only knows..to my great dismay, this property is not treating their guests with any kind of gratitude. This is the one and only negative review I've ever given and I travel more than most. Good luck!!

Original Lodge Rooms are located in the four-story complex of the main Hotel, closest to all the dining areas and the Convention Center. These rooms feature original wood beams cut from our mountain and are close to the pool area, mini-golf and Bear Trap game room. Tower rooms are located on the higher floors of the 10-story high-rise. These are spacious, open rooms with a king-sized, or two queen-sized bed. They feature balconies that overlook the scenic slopes or the Trillium Spa garden. If you have additional questions please contact us at 800-452-2223

In South Carolina, take the Columbia Amtrak to Washington Union Station and from there it will take you to Connellsville Amtrak. They'll need picked up at the Connellsville Amtrak, which costs $75 (one way) for us to do that. Megabus route from South Carolina is Fayetteville/Columbia to Washington DC, to Morgantown WV, to Seven Springs... if it's running. And what I mean by that is, I don't think the megabus runs every day. Neither are very cost effective. You can drive directly here much cheaper, unless you have a vehicle that only gets 10-15 miles per gallon.

Not that I am aware of. I think the nearest hotel is probably 30 minutes away.
