Stayed here after a day at Cook Forest. Loved that it is pet friendly! Our Border Collie got to enjoy the day with us. Price of the hotel was very affordable, expect an extra $10 fee for having an animal. Not a fancy hotel, but it served it's purpose.

This hotel was also called a Microtel when we checked in. But as we arrived I spotted an religious statue in the front of the place. Hmmm. We checked into our room and our two queen sized room was just great. It was pretty long with a counter with a sink between the two beds. The room was well appointed... More

I stayed here on various occasions totalling about a week's worth of time. The lady at the front was always very friendly. The room had everything I needed and nothing I didn't. While some may be bothered by the CRTs or the relatively small room size, I can easily do without these for a good deal. Breakfast was out by... More

As many others have said this hotel was previously a Microtel, and the signs and displays still say this. Like other Microtels the room with queen bed we got was smallish (European sized) but it had the amenities we needed including a good bed, writing desk, closed drawers, closet, shelf spaces, decent bathroom with toiletries, free and fast Wifi, etc.... My husband and I stayed at this hotel on 6/7/14 because it had the highest rating of all the hotels in the Clarion, Pennsylvania area. At first sight, the room appeared to be clean. After turning on the air conditioning, I was sitting on one of the queen size beds watching TV. I soon noticed something crawling on the bed... More

My husband and I stayed here one night in the middle of a long road trip. The staff was friendly, the room was very clean (and affordable), and the hotel was quiet. Would definitely stay here again. The only "negatives", which didnt matter to us, were: small room, small TV that was awkwardly placed, thin blanket on bed, no fridge... More

The place needs a lot of TLC for sure. weeds growing out of the cracks in the side walk, at least they looked healthy. No business office plus the office could not send an e-mail as they said there computer was down, however it never got fixed. It is over priced for what you get. The rooms were very small... More

We have been staying at the Microtel in Clarion for years. It is midway between our home and destinations back east, so the location is perfect for the long drive. Most recently we stayed one night heading back east, and one night on the way back home. The room we had the first night of the stay was really "worn".... More
