There's no need for the "vacation after the vacation" if you stay here. Amazing, filling breakfasts (don't even plan to eat lunch! LOL), wonderful conversations with your hosts, and a plethora of things to do outside, not to mention beautifully landscaped grounds. We stayed with 3 children in the two rooms in the house. They were minimally, but charmingly, decorated.... More

Well you know what they say, if its too good to be true...The outside of the cabin is OK, Old run down playground. The "swimming" pond is algae filled and murky The... More

Friendly country stay for anyone in the area who needs a clean bed and bath, not to mention a wonderful country-style breakfast! Vera and Elvin are very nice, kind hosts, who a treat to converse with. Their property is beautifully and whimsically landscaped, with access to farm animals and a pond. It was fun, too, to meet the guest who... More

This is a wonderful little B&B off the beaten path in Amish country near Lancaster County. Vera and Elvin, the (non-Amish) innkeepers, are the nicest people you could meet and Vera has a vast knowledge of things to do in the area as well as the lifestyle of the Amish people if you are so inclined to learn more about... It was so peaceful and serene, the Rock Cabin was just like home, but surrounded by mountains, a pond, grazing sheep and llamas and so much of greenery. The owners are very accomodating and nice folks. It was away from hustle bustle of Lancaster county tourists/tourism crowd -we felt one with nature and had the whole place to ourselves. It was... “I suspect the room I had-Vera said it was called the "Morning Glory" room, has more light as it is on the end of the house, whereas the other was between my room and the great-room. The great-room is separated from the bedrooms and TV room by curtained French doors.”
