Kim, one of the owners, greeted us with snacks and restaurant recommendations after our long drive. We had a great chat with her, even realizing we had a mutual connection to Alaska! She woke at 6:45 the next morning to make us a full breakfast before we had to rush out to make our Fallingwater tour. The room was comfy,...

My wife and I stayed here about 5 years ago when we came to tour Falling Water and thoroughly enjoyed our visit. We came back again last month, only this time with our tandem bike so that we could try riding in the GAP trail. Kim and Jeff have done a wonderful job of carrying on the tradition of comfort,...

We loved staying in this beautiful home! The innkeepers Kim and Jeff make you feel so welcome, and they really can't do enough for you. Jeff was nice enough to pick us up, (and all of our bikes) from the trail. They have set up their B&B perfectly. Half of the home is their private residence, and the other half...

We enjoyed staying at Stepping stone farm during a family get-together in Confluence, pa. The owners are very welcoming and encourage you to explore the farm and animals, if you like. It is very nice that they inhabit half of the house and guests, the other half, so you have privacy. There are large common areas to hang out in...

Rooms were clean and comfortable; hosts were VERY accommodating, making sure we had everything we needed and going above and beyond to meet our dietary preferences. (One member of our group is vegan.) Because we were biking (and there is a substantial (but not impossible!) hill between the GAP bike trail and the B&B), the hosts offered to pick us...

Charming farmhouse just a short distance from town. The new owners were welcoming and accommodating. The rooms and bathroom were clean and had everything we needed. It was a very nice spot to relax and unwind--especially after a day of biking. Breakfast was really good and in the evening the hosts offered cheese and cracker plates. A roaring camp fire...

My friend and I were riding the GAP from Cumberland to Pittsburgh and spent a night at Stepping Stone Farm. The farm is about a mile from the trail, but the owners offer a complimentary shuttle to and from the trail (which we didn't use). The room was clean and comfortable. The owners, Jeff and Kim, couldn't make us feel...

We thought that the GPS was taking us for a journey to some wild place, down side roads, and smaller roads, through towns like Upper Turkey Foot, Lower Turkey Foot and Chicken Bone (hey, what's with all the weird poultry references?). Then we ended up on a narrow road and at Stepping Stone Farm. It's a well-kept small farm with...

I drove to Stepping Stone Farm from Fallingwater through Ohiopyle State Park. What a pleasure to stop at the overlook marked by the symbol of a camera. Stepping Stone Farm was everything a B&B should be-- it is in a beautiful location close to nature and tourist attractions, the room I stayed in was beautifully furnished with restored antiques and...

A group of 7 met here for a reunion and trip to Fallingwater. The owners were extremely accommodating and friendly- they even set up a campfire in the back yard for roasting marshmallows late into the evening. In the morning, we were invited to milk goats and feed the chickens. We had access to the kitchen for cooking our own...
