I spent one night here on my visit to elk country in central Pennsylvania. After spending a few hours in and around the Elk Country Visitors' Center in Benezette (saw only one elk), I drove the 25 miles back to the DuBois area to spend the rest of the day (golfing/gym/dinner). I capped the day off by spending the night...

My husband and I stayed at the Inn at Narrows Creek for 2 nights in the log cabin suite. Upon arrival, my husband and I got out of the car and said hello to a young girl walking by. Thinking she was there to browse, as they were having a tent sale from the country store, we took a guess...

This is a charming bed and breakfast off Rt 80....we have always enjoyed! The relaxation is unbelievable, the atmosphere is 'made to order', and the hosts are wonderful people! If you are looking for a great place to spend your anniversary or any special occasion....don't hesitate to book a room here! You won't be sorry!

My husband and I stayed at this bed and breakfast on the way to Jim Thorpe Pennsylvania. It's conveniently located right off the freeway and is such a charming little place. We were in the Angel suite which was adorably decorated and we had a comfortable overnight stay. They have the cutest little gift shop and wonderful grounds that you...

My wife and I and a travelling colleague chose to stay at the Inn en route home to Ontario, Canada from a conference in Virginia. Du Bois seemed to be a good half-way point for an overnight stop, and the Inn's website intrigued us. Despite our arrival in the midst of a thunderstorm, Linda welcomed us with a tour of...

My wife and I stopped by The Inn at Narrows Creek last year to shop and we were charmed by their decor and location - it SEEMED promising. Until I called to reserve a room. Sometimes we choose to be spontaneous - and because we live within a 50 mile radius of The Inn, we thought we'd give it a...

Obviously this potential guest did not contact our Inn for a reservation. First of all, we do not have two ladies here working at 7 p.m. in the evening. So I am sure that conversation never happened. And our experience has been that someone calling that late for a reservation does not want to leave a credit card to hold...

We just returned from a stay at The Inn at Narrows Creek. We went to see the elk in Elk County. The area with elk is about thirty minutes from the Inn. The innkeeper was very friendly and showed us to our room. We were in the sunflower suite. We were quite surprised at how big it was, given the...

We've stayed here twice. Once in the "Apple" room and once in the "Angel" room. Both rooms were very similar with a private bath. The decor is warm and inviting. Linda is very accommodating and serves a wonderful breakfast to your room setting it on the table for two. The grounds are beautiful and full of whimsy. The country store...

While visiting family in the area, we found this little gem as a place to stay near our travels through the area, and found it a wonderful place! Lovely shop, personal attention, very clean and comfortable! Especially loved the breakfast brought to our room as a very nice touch. We stayed in the Sunflower room, and found it to be...

This was our second stay in the Americana room which is decorated in rustic red, white, and blue. Electric fireplace in sitting room adds to the relaxing atmosphere which includes a Jacuzzi tub and beautiful brass bed. Delicious breakfast is served in room. The trees on the grounds have old man faces carved into them. Really cool to see.
