We booked this resort for two weeks. We were out of the resort for a couple of days, when we came back to the resort for the second week the unit was not clean, as it was supposed to be for a second week. Someone got in, left some trash but didn’t clean.We asked the front desk to send someone to clean but they refused! We had to clean the unit ourselves, clean the bathrooms, changed the sheets and all that was needed. This is outrageous! We did not complete the second week and left two days after.

We appreciate you leaving your feedback and apologize for any misunderstanding. We respectfully disagree with your comments. Our team left you a voicemail on May 29th, offering to schedule a cleaning for you. In addition, our front Desk Manager spoke with your party later that day and again offered to have your villa cleaned but, that offer was declined. Lastly, we were unable to substantiate that anyone outside of your party entered your villa. Again, thank you for your comments. I've been a timeshare owner for many years and under Exploria, Pocono Mountains is again shining as a premier place to stay. The units are clean, the amenities are pretty good and the area has other activities that you may not find on the property.

Since my last stay at Tree Tops Resort in 2018, there has been much improvements. The villas have been refurbished. The gulf course around the villas was interesting. Had fun looking at the armature golfers. Had access to Wi-Fi this time. My 10 days stay was very pleasant.

We enjoyed our stay and loved the villa that we stayed in. Here are some pros and cons: Pros - Big, spacious rooms; clean; beautiful landscape; mini golf; swimming pools; game room; close to a number of other facilities offering outdoor activities. Cons - Game room closes at 8 p.m.; no biking facility on-site; only one eating option on-site.

staff was very friendly and accommodating. I would definitely go back again. Plenty of activities right on resort. Full 18 hole golf course. Resort restaurant was very good and not overly priced. Highly recommend

Never knew I’d stay in a resort that was one step away from being condemned. This place is a disaster. From cabinets falling off the hinges, sticky floors, cracks, smells, lack of linens, dirt everywhere … to unconcerned supervisors and staff.

I am writing to make sure that you are aware that I believe I was mishandled at Pocono Mountain Villas during out recent visit to the resort. I do not want to harm the facility or the staff there that were really okay for the most part. My wife and I could not arrive at 4:00 pm on Sunday May 21st and called ahead to make sure the front desk was aware of a late check in. we could not get a response at the front desk and ended up getting someone via the Westgate service connection. we did arrive approximately 9:00 pm and was able to check in with fair ease. Our first night there my wife and I were awakened at 1:45 am by banging on our door. When I asked who was it and advised that I was calling the front desk the individual ran away. I put in a call to the front desk that said they would send security. The next morning My wife and I were very disappoint at the appearance of the lake. The lake was filthy and not very becoming of a resort. I expressed to my wife that maybe it was that they had not had time to clean it for the season yet. The facilities themselves were good and we enjoyed comfortable accommodations. Our check out date was Thursday, May 25, 2023, and I was aware that. I however noticed and noted to my wife that our check out card was dated for our check out on the 26th so, I suggested to my wife that since our check out date was s day later it wouldn't be any problem for us to leave our baggage there while we visit our friend that leaved a few miles away and pick up our baggage and perhaps get a nap before heading back to the city. While visiting our fiend I receive a call that we were supposed to check out at 10:00 am and that we would be charged for an extra day because our bags were still in the villa. I explained why we thought it would be okay because of the checkout card that said check out date May 26, 2023. I was told that I would need to speak to the Front desk manager. Upon speaking with the front desk manager, Frank Villecco, who was very unpleasant to deal with and in spite of my showing where the checkout card said the 26th. He stated that the card given to us was given to us in error. He charged us and additional $109.00. in spite of this being an error on their part. This really soured the whole experience for us. I would have been okay with the other disappointments, but I do not feel that I should have to pay for someone else's error. If I am not somehow accommodated, I will not return to this resort and will deter any of my Westgate associates and friends from coming to this resort.…

We appreciate your comments and sincerely apologize for any misunderstanding or inconvenience. To clarify, Pocono Mountain Villas is part of Exploria Resorts and has no affiliation with Westgate. We apologize for any confusion. We certainly regret your having been disturbed by a knock on your door during the middle of the night and hope our Security team responded to your satisfaction. In addition, our pond is cleaned several times a year. Unfortunately, its appearance does fluctuate depending on the amount of rainfall we get. We regret it wasn't as clear during your stay. Lastly, while we do apologize for any misunderstanding regarding your check out date, all guests are responsible for checking out on the departure date of the stay in which they booked. In this instance, our Front Desk Manager waived the cost of an additional night's stay, which would have been over $250, and instead, only imposed the late check out fee. Again, we regret any misunderstanding and inconvenience, appreciate your feedback and wish you and your family a great summer.

This resort is not very maintain anymore, the pools area are dirty and need maintenance. Most activities are close during the week, there is not much to do as activities., at the Resort. Very little personal, available in all common areas, my family and I was very disappointed, we have been going to this resort for many years, and it use to be very beautiful. very disappointed memory.

My family enjoyed our stay at tree tops at pocono mountain villas. The resort was huge and had trouble locating our room at first but eventually figured out where everything was at. The room itself was gigantic. We got a 2 bedroom and I was surprised to find it had 3 levels including a loft with a spiral staircase, I was like wow all of this is ours. I guess the only downside would be walking up and down the steps, you come in to a split foyer and downstairs is the bedrooms and bathrooms and upstairs is the kitchen and living room. There was def a lot of space for everyone and we enjoyed our view of the pond from the balcony and the jacuzzi tub is always a bonus. I like that there were activities to do on the resort and the restaurant on the property was good. The only negative would be that we traveled on may 14th-21st and I guess that’s considered “off season” a lot of the stuff wasn’t open til the end of the week like Fri-sun. I assumed the outdoor pools wouldn’t be open yet but there was only one indoor pool open throughout the week I’m not sure why the mini golf and other indoor pool were only open on the weekends. We did like that the mini golf was included for free. I found out that most of the activities you had to make a reservation first you couldn’t just walk up and do it. My son enjoyed the blue lightning slide and I did the horseback ride which was really fun. I was also disappointed that most of the local activities in the area weren’t open during the week either they didn’t open til the weekend. We still found other things to do and made the best of it. All in all it was a nice relaxing getaway not too far from home. …

I hosted a girl's weekend in one of the new renovated villas. Everything was beautiful, spacious, and easy to get to. Everyone was impressed. If we needed more linens or an item, guest services was just a phone call away and they came very quickly. Highly recommend!
